The topic here is addressing the water emersion of the body for sin cleansing purposes of all peoples under the new covenant. (new testament).
When I read the bible I see something more amazing that water cleaning a person...I see the blood of Christ doing the cleansing...not water.

1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.

Back then some where eg thief on cross.

TODAY for CC to enter Heaven, I would like to see the verses where Jesus VIA Paul taught that CC must be water immersed baptized.
1 Cr 1 17 For Christ did not send me to baptize,
Odd If water immerse baptize is a requirement for CC to enter Heaven
Water baptism isn't a requirement for baptism. Baptism illustrates a believer’s identification with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection.

Keep it in context...Christ on the cross and resurrection gave us ...GRACE....under which we get forgiveness of sins. But first our hearts must be cleansed and water baptism is required to complete that.

Where does the bible teach this?

How do you use water to cleanse your heart? How do you get the water into your chest cavity so you can cleanse your heart?

Yes.....Acts 2; 38 and many others.
Then u must ask How do we cleanse the heart with the act of repentance?...because of Grace given to us by Christs' death on the cross. (that is like the person asking Christ how he can be born again needing to re enter moms womb as an adult and b born again). pplh
Step one....public acknowledgement of God as our creator and asking Him for forgiveness of our sins.
step two.....Full body baptism in water...thereby acknowledging Christ as savior.

If I understand you correctly you're saying the "heart" is symbolic of something? What is it symbolic of?

I dont understand your question...heart symbolic?
You said....."Then u must ask How do we cleanse the heart with the act of repentance?"

What is the heart symbolic of? Do we need to unzip our chest exposing our heart and then clean our heart with repentance and water?

What is this heart you speak of? What is this cleansing of our heart symbolic for?

The promise of the Holy Ghost to those who believed and were baptized was to those there of Israel and to their children....not to all
[Act 2:39 KJV] 39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, [even] as many as the Lord our God shall call.
Those who are far off are shown as the Gentiles though, for example,

Ephes 2:11 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;

Ephes 2:12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

Those that are far off are shown as the Gentiles

Ephes 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

Says here that both have access by one Spirit here

Ephes 2:18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

Here the Gentiles have the gift of the Holy Ghost poured out upon them

Acts 10:45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Acts 10:46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,

And here Peter tells them to be water baptized

Acts 10:47 Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?

Acts 10:48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.
Correct me if I am wrong but as far as recorded scripture, the Gentiles did not receive the Spirit until Acts 10 so they were not promised it in Acts2:39
All whom God calls are promised the gift of the Holy Spirit in Acts 2:38-39,
- Then Peter said unto them, repent and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit
- for the promise is unto you(jews), and to your children(future generations)
and to all that are afar off(gentiles), even as many as the Lord our God shall call

The qualification extends to everyone as God calls all to Him through the gospel.
This shows the gift of the Holy Spirit is not to Jews only but to all that the Lord God calls.

Verse 39 specifies whom God calls.
Jews all future generations.
Gentiles.
That's everyone.

2Thessalonians 2:14,
- Whereunto He called you by our(Peter, Paul, apostles) gospel to the obtaning of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ

Doug, God doesn't call only Jews in Acts 2:39. God calls the jews and gentiles by His gospel.
The gentiles were already chosen to be called. That calling first occurs in Acts 10.

It was prophesied by Joel as Peter preached in Acts chapter 2.
Acts 2:16-21,
- but this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel,
- and it shall come to pass in the last days saith God,
I will pour out My Spirit upon all flesh(jew and gentile)
and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy and your young men shall see visions and your old men shall dream dreams
- and on My servants and on My handmaidens I will pour out in those days of My Spirit and they shall prophesy

Good discussion.
