To make an omelette, you got to break a few eggs.
Are you really comparing killing people with breaking eggs??????
You don’t seem to know what murder is as you keep confusing it with what is not murder.
Murder is killing innocents for utterly corrupt politicians. It's not so difficult. The NT does not approve of killing people, period!

That doesn't tell YOU to kill people. Why do you want to kill people?????
Yea, it does tell us to kill people. It’s not that I want to kill people AS IF it is some emotional thing. It’s that I recognize sometimes, that is what justice requires. Otherwise, the sword is held in vain.

Justice? What justice? Where did any Christian kill people in the NT? Ain't none! Where does it tell YOU to use the sword? It doesn't! You're promoting killing innocents for corrupt, LYING THIEVING politicians! That's MURDER!

Good luck on Judgment Day!

The NT doesn‘t say anything about driving on the right hand side of the road or brushing our teeth. Yet, we do it for justice sake.
But you're not doing it for "justice"! You're doing it for Satanic politicians!

How is killing INNOCENT people "justice"??? Lord have mercy!

Says you. Did you ever read the link on Nohadic covenant? Ever read Genesis 9? God said something relevant about justice as it pertains to the sentence to execute Christa Pike.
Now you're turning to OT because you have ZERO NT! And you ignore the many death penalties in the Law of Moses! What about the part that says to kill your family? Gays? Weekend workers? You just pick the parts you like. Utter HYPOCRISY!
She's GUILTY.
You don't know that!!! So you choose to kill her! Why not keep her in prison??? Maybe she's innocent! Why are you OBSESSED with killing people???

I didn't read this thread but I have been seeing this story and I'm very well known for saying things that many might disagree with. I think the execution was botched on purpose. We live in a very sissified world and the governor, the prison or whoever was so distraught at the thought of giving someone the death penalty that they messed it up on purpose. Since it failed, they should definitely try again.

I have seen my fair share of people who call themselves Christians begging and pleading for this woman to be set free. Many fall under this belief that because Paul was once a murderer, that means every murderer, p*dofile, r*pist and dirty old man with a dungeon under his house is going to become the next living Saint and bring us all to God. Praying for other souls to find God is something we are religiously obligated to do, but frankly it rarely works. Every whackjob liberal and "progressive Christian" loves to ignore the fact that this woman is a Satanist who tortured another human being and kept a piece of her victim's skull. I have even seen some weirdo feminists who tried to claim that this execution was an attack on women, ignoring that a woman was the victim. The real victim.

So, here comes the harsh reality. Sure, we can pray for her soul and whatever. But the truth is she isn't going to change. She was in prison for over thirty years and never once showed any sign of remorse or inclination to come to Jesus. She's a lost cause and giving her the death penalty is the only thing we as a society can do. I have talked about considering Catholicism before, but one of the things that has stopped me is that the Church is now anti-death penalty. We need the death penalty. It's not the police picking up random people to torture in an electric chair. If we let this murderess go free, then what? Who will hire her? Is the state supposed to waste money keeping her alive like it has been doing for the past thirty years?

Bottom line is we need the death penalty, and this woman should face a firing squad. Not sorry for anything I just said!

Edited to ad: we should think less about coddling murderers and think about being compassionate for the families of victims who will never heal!

Is the sword held in vain in the NT?
If you have Scripture quote it. I will assume you mean:

Romans 13:4
4 For he is God's minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God's minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil.

"He" is not referring to YOU!

She's only 50 years old and you want to kill her? Don't you think people over 50 can be saved? How can you be so MERCILESS and claim to be Christian??????????????????????????

Do you know the diff between "he" and ye? It's not referring to YE. You don't have the right to kill people, IF you're Christian. If you're not Christian then go ahead, MURDER as many as makes you happy. Payday is dead ahead.
These verses appear to teach that the law of the land is allowed to impose penalties appropriate to the crime committed
Paul himself accepted death if he was guilty of such punishment

Acts 25
11For if I be an offender, or have committed any thing worthy of death, I refuse not to die: but if there be none of these things whereof these accuse me, no man may deliver me unto them. I appeal unto Caesar.
Rom 13
3For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:

4For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.
