The same spirit that said to you the earth is a globe is the same spirit who told you pre-trib rapture is true.
FYI - That spirit is not the HOLY SPIRIT, for HE never lies.
I really doubt that you heard that from God. He wouldn't contradict His Word.

How does God showing me the earth is a globe..contradict His Word?
Are you of the same sect that says if you believe in a globe earth....you are hearing from a false God and are not saved?

During the Middle Ages they feared that if you sailed far enough on the oceans you would eventually sail off the edge of the earth.
Why did they believe this?
You keep diverting. YOU...YOU...YOU...are one of the guys who says the bible teaches the earth is FLAT....not a globe.

I fully trust the Lord Jesus Christ. What does He say about the earth's shape, or whether a sinner has to have certain beliefs about that shape to be saved?

You seem to be misunderstanding me. It is not my "errant supposition" that we are saved by the shape of the earth. I said that what we believe about the shape of the earth does not affect our salvation..

Because back then everyone was either catholic or reformed so they were all believing false doctrine.
The catholic and the reformed were murdering people who did not believe their false doctrine.

In FACT, GOD demonstrates His Creation from His Word in Genesis that the earth has a Level surface by which the mountains, the valleys, the very DEEP oceans, lakes an drivers have been carved and shaped upon and in.
Anyone who believes/trust the globalists from Babylon are under their deception, concerning the earth being a globe.
The RCC is a very terrible evil that also deceives millions.
However, because you are currently indoctrinated by the globalists, as i was and most of the world, you failed to understand Genesis.
There are TWO FACTUAL accounts as to why they believed you would fall off the edge of the earth.
#1 - Is the FACTUAL SCIENTIFIC OBSERVENCE of WATER = 24/7 seeks its own Level and impossible for WATER to cling to a spiraling globe.
#2 - No one, at that time, had been to the edges of the earth to SEE the ICE WALL Barrier that GOD created.
#3 - No one had, at the time and possibly today, gone over the ICE WALL and beyond.
