What do you mean 'they lost it'? There has always been a remnant through the diasporas under persecutions and occupations, by Babylonians, Romans, Byzantines, Ottomans, British. No wonder the Jews were a minority in 1948.
Its like saying GET OUT OF MY HOMELAND.
BUT THEY DIDNT SAY THAT. they said arabs could stay as citizens and plenty did.
Palestine doesn't exist as a nation state, never has done. Gaza has, but Palestine hasnt.
You don't understand. God ended national Israel. He did that by destroying the temple, which symbolized the old Covenant law.

Ephesians 2:14 KJV
For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

When a zionist christian insists that God still has plans with the nation of Israel it brings back that middle wall of partition. The Old Covenant has been fulfilled in the New Covenant. Haven't you heard?

Jesus certainly said He was greater than the temple and Jesus fulfilled the law and the prophets, but He also said He didnt abolish it but rather fulfilled it. Sure we now have access to God through Jesus after the curtain was torn, but what has that got to do with God's promises for the land? How does that relate to the land?

Yes indeed but again how does that relate yo the land?

Again how does it relate to the land? God made promises about the land to the Israelites and God's promises are yes and amen. The scripture also says we are grafted on as gentiles.
