Many many people assume most of the warning in Scripture mean that one may lose their salvation.
This conclusion is false.
Once we are born again, we can not be unborn. It is illogical. Jesus said so.
However; there ARE warnings to believers about their conduct and that there can be severe consequences if we walk in unbelief and carnality.
So, what do they mean? They speak about loss of reward in the coming Millenial Kingdom of Christ.
BUT WE CAN NOT BE UNBORN AGAIN.
If our conduct can not SAVE us then our conduct can not UNSAVE us. Otherwise, Christ's blood has no meaning whatsoever.

But they can become corrupt as many have now become.

our conduct can not UNSAVE us.

2 Peter 2:20-22
For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

I get annoyed with folks like yourself who rip verses out of their context to "prove" an unbiblical doctrine.
Peter is merely echoing what John also stated in his epistles. They left the faith because they were never OF the faith.
All you did was prove my initial point.
You are making verses say what the Holy Spirit did NOT say.
We can NOT be unborn again. It is impossible, just like Paul said in Hebrews.

You mean you don't think anyone who claims to believe on Jesus Christ can be deceived into false worship? If so, then you don't believe what Apostle Paul taught in 2 Thessalonians 2 about the coming great apostasy of many believers.

I know what you mean and it is annoying. This chapter is addressing false prophets/false teachers. Now in regard to 2 Peter 2:20, those who are truly born of God have received a new nature and are partakers of the divine nature. They have been transformed from pigs and dogs into sheep. The change is more than just cosmetic, as in 2 Peter 2:20. *These cleaned up on the outside dogs and pigs were never sheep.

Compare 2 Peter 1:4 - "partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption - Strongs #5356 that is in the world through lust with 2 Peter 2:20 - with they escaped the pollutions - Strongs #3356 (different Greek word) of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, yet they are again entangled therein, and overcome. *Notice that 2 Peter 2:20 did not mention these dogs and pigs being partakers of the divine nature.

Corruption is deeper than pollutions on the outside. It is decay on the inside.

Having the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ does not save a person if there is no heart submission to that knowledge. The latter end is worse than the beginning for these men because rejecting this knowledge will make them more accountable at the judgment. Judas Iscariot is a good example.

I can agree with this analysis and conclusion.

Well we certainly appreciate you taking time to share your eisegesis (reading something into a text that isn't there)
A person cannot depart from the faith without having been in the faith.

Let's see what your eisegesis has to say about this passage:

2 Peter 2:20-22
For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

In 2 Peter 2:20-22 we know it's talking about people who have been born again because the passage says "after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ"

Before people get born again they are on their way to hell, right? Well 2 Peter 2:20-22 says those who turn away from the Lord getting entangled therein, and overcome in the pollutions of the world are worse with them than the beginning!

Now they are worse off than they were before they got born again because 2 Peter 2:20-22 says it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.

The osas folks can't explain this one away so all they are doing is outing themselves as not believing and accepting the whole counsel of the Lord which they must do in order to protect their unbiblical carnal minded man made doctrines.

Why make such an untrue statement when we ALL know it is built on sinking sand?

"They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us." — 1 John 2:19 (KJV)

Those who "depart from the faith" were never genuinely saved to begin with. Such "nominal" Christians had an outward, association with the church or Christian community rather than true, regenerating faith. Just like in 1 John 2:19, we read - They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us.

"The faith" refers to the objective body of Christian truth and doctrine, rather than personal saving faith in Christ. To "depart from the faith" means to abandon or turn away from sound Christian teaching to follow false, deceitful spirits and demonic doctrines (such as forbidding marriage and requiring abstinence from foods that God created to be received with thanksgiving). This confirms that such folks were never firmly rooted and established in the faith.
Yes, and the scripture confirms this regarding 'the faith'

They depart from the external religion, church, the faith, never having been converted by the Spirit on the inside into the New Man

Ephesians 4

The New Man

17 This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as [f]the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind, 18 having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart; 19 who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

20 But you have not so learned Christ, 21 if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus: 22 that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, 23 and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, 24 and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.

Greeting to the Called

1 Jude, a bondservant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James,

To those who are called, [a]sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ:

2 Mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you.

Contend for the Faith

3 Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. 4 For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord [b]God and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Old and New Apostates

5 But I want to remind you, though you once knew this, that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe. 6 And the angels who did not keep their [c]proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day; 7 as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the [d]vengeance of eternal fire.

Hebrews 10

32 But recall the former days in which, after you were [h]illuminated, you endured a great struggle with sufferings: 33 partly while you were made a spectacle both by reproaches and tribulations, and partly while you became companions of those who were so treated; 34 for you had compassion on [i]me in my chains, and joyfully accepted the plundering of your [j]goods, knowing that you have a better and an enduring possession for yourselves [k]in heaven. 35 Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. 36 For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise:

37 “For yet a little while,
And He[l] who is coming will come and will not [m]tarry.
38 Now the[n] just shall live by faith;
But if anyone draws back,
My soul has no pleasure in him.”

39 But we are not of those who draw back to [o]perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul.

Compare what Jesus taught and what Paul says, and you will see your salvation is an eternal work of God. Jesus tells us the reason right here. v21 and v45 agree, as do many other scriptures say the same things.

Ephesians 4
21 if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus:

John 6

35 And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.

36 But I said to you that you have seen Me and yet do not believe.

37 All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will [f]by no means cast out.

38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.

39 This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day.

40 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”

41 The Jews then [g]complained about Him, because He said, “I am the bread which came down from heaven.” 42 And they said, “Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How is it then that He says, ‘I have come down from heaven’?”

43 Jesus therefore answered and said to them, [h]“Do not murmur among yourselves.

44 No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day.

45 It is written in the prophets, ‘And they shall all be taught by God.’ Therefore everyone who [i]has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me.

46 Not that anyone has seen the Father, except He who is from God; He has seen the Father.

47 Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes [j]in Me has everlasting life.

48 I am the bread of life. 49 Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and are dead.

50 This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that one may eat of it and not die.

51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.”

Ephesians 4

The eternal security argument usually goes some thing like this “but they were never of us; for if they had ever been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us forever: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were never of us“. Notice that I added the words “never”, “ever” and “forever“, because that is what eternal security advocates are claiming that this text is saying. But before we begin to break down these verses, let’s first look at the passage in context.

Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. 1 John 2:18

John is speaking of people he calls “antichrist’s”, this is not talking about all believers. Essentially, these are false teachers who deny that Jesus has come in the flesh. They were gnostics who believed that all flesh was evil and that the spiritual realm was good, and therefore it didn’t matter how they lived because the flesh will always be sinful and it cannot effect the spirit. This is why they were denying that Jesus came in the flesh. So this is not a good passage to use to teach the eternal security of believers, because its not the topic being discussed. It falls into the category or an unclear passage and shouldn’t be used to interpret the clear passages which teach conditional security.

They went out from us, but they were not of us; 1 John 2:19

The passage here says that these false teachers went out from us, that is the fellowship of believers, but they were not of us. It does not say that they were never of us. It simply says that at the time they left us, they were not of us. That’s it. They left us because they were not of us at that point in time. We cannot insert the word “never” before the words “of us”.

For if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. 1 John 2:19

This next section of the verse continues the flow and says that if they had been of us, they would have no doubt continued with us, but it still doesn’t add the words “never”, “ever” or “forever”. These words are assumed by eternal security advocates. John is referring to a group of anti-christs who left the company of believers at a particular point in time. He is not speaking of eternal security. Therefore, this passage can be understood as simply saying that if they had been of us, at the time which they departed from us, then they would have continued with us instead of departing from us.

This shouldn’t be understood as saying they would have continued with us forever. The word forever is not used and John is referring to an event which took place at a particular point in time. Furthermore, that interpretation would contradict the clear passages which teach that a believer can lose their salvation. A objective reader, not polluted with once saved always saved opinions, would conclude that John is saying no more than this; if they had been believers when they left us then they would have continued with us instead of leaving us.

The final words of the passage become simple to understand when this interpretation is accepted. These anti-christs went out from us instead of continuing with us so that it would be revealed that at that time they were not of us. We shouldn’t see this passage as an attempt by John to teach eternal security. He isn’t even touching the topic. I accept that these anti-christs may never have been believers. But the the fact that John does not discuss their prior condition nor does he say that anyone of us will continue with us forever, rules out this passage as a proof text for eternal security.

With this interpretation being a plausible one, we ought then to interpret the vague and unclear passages in light of the clear ones. When we do that we will end up with conditional security rather eternal security.

You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in.” Granted. But they were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but tremble. For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either. Romans 11:19-21

You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in.” Granted. But they were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but tremble. For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either. Romans 11:19-21

Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away … If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. John 15:2, 6

because that is what eternal security advocates are claiming that this text is saying.
Strawman argument. Therefore the remainder of this screed is built on sinking sand.
We do not misrepresent the Works Salvation people in order to prove Eternal Security: We do not need to since Jesus Himself taught eternal security.

There is no eternal security for them that believe not, God saves believers in Him, not unbelievers.
They real test is are you born of God, cause all those born again of incorruptible seed will continue to believe as God is their true Father.

The others will fall away, Jesus demonstrates this in the parable of the Sower.
Out of all the types of people only one was saved, the seed that fell on the good ground.
The good ground is a changed heart, and God is the one who opens and changes the heart, He takes out the heart of stone which is hardened against the truth, and puts in it the new heart which is teachable by the Holy Spirit.

Jesus even explains the meaning of the parable

The Parable of the Sower

1 On the same day Jesus went out of the house and sat by the sea. 2 And great multitudes were gathered together to Him, so that He got into a boat and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore.

3 Then He spoke many things to them in parables, saying: “Behold, a sower went out to sow. 4 And as he sowed, some seed fell by the wayside; and the birds came and devoured them. 5 Some fell on stony places, where they did not have much earth; and they immediately sprang up because they had no depth of earth. 6 But when the sun was up they were scorched, and because they had no root they withered away. 7 And some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprang up and choked them. 8 But others fell on good ground and yielded a crop: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. 9 He who has ears to hear, let him hear!”

The Purpose of Parables

10 And the disciples came and said to Him, “Why do You speak to them in parables?”

11 He answered and said to them, “Because it has been given to you to know the [a]mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given. 12 For whoever has, to him more will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him. 13 Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. 14 And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says:

‘Hearing you will hear and shall not understand,
And seeing you will see and not perceive;

15 For the hearts of this people have grown dull.
Their ears are hard of hearing,
And their eyes they have closed,
Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears,
Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn,
So that I [b]should heal them.’
16 But blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear; 17 for assuredly, I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.

The Parable of the Sower Explained

18 “Therefore hear the parable of the sower: 19 When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside. 20 But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; 21 yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles. 22 Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.

23 But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.”

All those who deo not bear fruit to God are cut down and cast into the fire!
God in heaven is the one who gives understanding to men. There is no other way to salvation unless God through Christ reveals to you the understanding, He does this by you being enable to be taught by Him teaching you

19 We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one.

20 And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.

21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How many of your really understand this!

Luke 24:45
And He opened their understanding, that they might comprehend the Scriptures.

Abraham’s Seed and Satan’s

37 “I know that you are Abraham’s descendants, but you seek to kill Me, because My word has no place in you. 38 I speak what I have seen with My Father, and you do what you have [n]seen with your father.”

39 They answered and said to Him, “Abraham is our father.”

Jesus said to them, “If you were Abraham’s children, you would do the works of Abraham. 40 But now you seek to kill Me, a Man who has told you the truth which I heard from God. Abraham did not do this. 41 You do the deeds of your father.”

Then they said to Him, “We were not born of fornication; we have one Father—God.”

42 Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and came from God; nor have I come of Myself, but He sent Me. 43 Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word.

44 You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it. 45 But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me. 46 Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me? 47 He who is of God hears God’s words; therefore you do not hear, because you are not of God.”

1 Timothy 4:1,2 is really true and some depart from the faith.

I've known people that repented and walked with the Lord for a long time and later they started following doctrines of devils just like 1 Timothy 4:1,2 says. It's very possible and some do turn away.
many already have turned away . And the many i speak of are sitting in churches and even still cliaming to be christian .
May that put the HOLY FEAR OF GOD into this sold out ecumeincal inclusive generation .
YE cant claim to beleive the gospel and then all of a sudden make UNBELEIF king .
WE either BELEIVE or we dont . BUT IT WILL NOT BE BOTH .
just like one plus one is two . not three , not four , not whatever one thinks it might be .
I expose them charlatons who go around cliaming to beleive on JESUS
and then acting like its not necessary for others too . THEMS wolves .
EITHER we BELIEVE or NOT . But it cannot be both .
For he or she who cliams to believe , either BELEIVES or they dont .
NOT BOTH .
So no more . I will hear no more words from this generation
that kisses on korans and budda statues , and hollers all religoins be serving the same GOD
we christians do . NO SIR , not on my watch . The jews were even told by JESUS ye are of your father the DEVIL .
To those who did not BELIEVE ON HIM the CHRIST .
Them false relgions serve satan . And there will absolutely be NO apology from me for saying so .
And JESUS also aint no minstir of sin etiher . So enough with the rainbows too .
Just a super friendly reminder to us all .
