Hi,

Judgment defined: an opinion or conclusion

Your statement
was your OPINION and you CONCLUDED that he doesn't agree with scripture.

The point I am trying to make is since you and I don't have the authority to determine who's doctrine agrees with scripture who does have that authority? Not trying to be hostile here...Just trying to see who you think has authority.

If me asking you what authority YOU have to determine if someone else's doctrine agrees with scripture is to difficult of a question to answer then tell me so and we will move on. If you think that simple question is "hostile" then it sounds like you are not prepared to defend your own statements.

I will elaborate after you answer my question of which you dodged again: Did you actually read or listen to what MacArthur had to say on the subject?

IHS...Mary
I have the authority.

Don't bother elaborating. You have discredited yourself, and no good will come of it.

Thank you Scott. By your short and terse response it is obvious you can't articulate a valid defense of your beliefs OR statements.

Since you don't want me to elaborate I suspect you DIDN'T read what MacArthur had to say. If you had read it I suspect you would have said you did. That's ok...I ain't mad at ya'. There was no wrong answer or right answer....Just the truth.

BTW....When someone refuses to answer a simple question based on their previous statements, like you did, and says they have authority, with no evidence of authority, that person becomes discredited. Not the person asking the question.

Right.

"Now when He came into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people confronted Him as He was teaching, and said, “By what authority are You doing these things? And who gave You this authority?

But Jesus answered and said to them, “I also will ask you one thing, which if you tell Me, I likewise will tell you by what authority I do these things: The baptism of John—where was it from? From heaven or from men?”

And they reasoned among themselves, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ He will say to us, ‘Why then did you not believe him?’ But if we say, ‘From men,’ we fear the multitude, for all count John as a prophet.” So they answered Jesus and said, “We do not know.”

And He said to them, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things

Hi Scott,

The chief priests and elders confronted Jesus about his authority. I confronted you about your authority.

Are you suggesting that you don't have to reveal how you came to be with the authority you think you have?

Jesus was God therefore we know where his authority came from.

Why are you comparing yourself to Jesus?

Thanks again for the opportunity to reveal the truth at your expense. Apparently, you don't know who you are talking to. :)

Galatians 2:20
I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me;

Mark 13:11
But whatever is given you in that hour, speak that; for it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit.

If we are to join in spirit with God through Jesus Christ as One body - how is it that you do not presume to do so, but presume rather to despise those who do?

Do you presume to be the mouth or the tongue, to say that I am not?

Hypocrites!
