Peace be to all that will pursue peace. The peace of God, the only real peace comes only from the creator Jesus the Christ. It is He who has made all things. The peace of the world is not peace but an imitation that cannot compare with the true peace of the Prince of peace.

True peace cannot be had without first turning yourself over to God and accepting with joy the savor given for you. Then and only then will the peace of God flood in and fill every empty soul. Without the presence of God there is no peace. Men who have not known the peace of God deceive themselves by calling riches peace. By calling achievement and dead works peace. Only by yielding to God's eternal plan of salvation will any man or woman ever truly come to know real peace.

Only by drinking from the fountain of eternal life will any thirst ever be quenched. The witness of God's presence is the abundant presence of His peace. The times of refreshing from the increased presence of the anointing of God's Holy Spirit is continual witness to the believer. There is never a shortage of the peace of God for those that follow hard after Him.

You who know Him can rejoice above all others living on earth for only you know the peace of God which passes all comprehension. My peace I leave with you given freely to my adopted sons and daughters. This is the heritage of the children of God and your righteousness is of me. Go in peace and stay in peace.

I'm an expert in recognizing peace. As far back as a child I needed deliverance from demonic spirits of all kinds. Members of my family - not dad or mom - were messing with occultism and as a result many suffered. I was afraid much but no one was filled with the Holy Spirit in my family that I knew, so there was no power to deliver me.

Jesus came and saved me, filled me with His Holy Spirit when i was 33 and for the first time in my existence I saw, felt, basked in His indescribable peace. There's no way to describe the peace of God to those without it. It has to experienced then lived in.

In the last year the Lord has brought me to a place where I can look up at any time from whatever I'm doing and sense the magnified presence of the Holy Spirit. It's so wonderful.

For a long while the devil tried to torment me with the "you've blasphemed the Holy Spirit and sentenced to perdition"! I know he does this to many.

A simple statement spoken to me one night put the torment to an end. He said to me "look, I'm here. If I had abandoned you I wouldn't be here. You wouldn't be able to sense my presence in the least. I only come, remain where I'm wanted by those that desire me with all their heart".

Friends, look up from what you're doing right now and recognize the wonderful unmistakable presence of God's Holy Spirit of promise. You will be pleased to sense the sweet unmistakable feeling, the indescribable knowledge that He is right there with you.

There is NOTHING to compare with the peace that flows from God to us by His Holy Spirit. If you're able get up and do a victory in peace jig before the Lord just like king David!

If His peace in you is diminished find out why. Remember 1 John 1:9. It's the antidote for many things. Amen

I read others quoting so many verses, often regarding punishments, obsessed with spreading fear of God or the afterlife...on all Christian forums.
I don't read many talk about the Presence.
Finally, someone else...

There's a huge difference in fearing God and being afraid of Him. If you live in dread and are paralyzed with fear of Him then you will only go through motions of serving God. Doing things by the letter is a sad existence.

I fear God greatly but I cannot live in constant fear that He's about to punish me for my imperfections. Romans 7 and 8 separates this out. If we try to carry out the book of laws then where does the sacrifice of Jesus Christ's life apply?

There are I believe large numbers of Christians that live in a dread and crushing fear that God is just waiting to punish them. In my own case this was so true due I think to a harsh and dominating father. He was always critical of me finding fault in so much of what I did. I can remember harsh things he said to me over 60 years ago.

Though overjoyed to be saved I saw Jesus as the one I could go to never mentioning the Heavenly Father. They're the same I know but I still saw the father as akin to my own as if Jesus was the only one keeping the Heavenly Father from punishing me for my inescapable imperfections.

Perhaps this wrong perception of God has afflicted you. It takes time to get over this and come to know that the Heavenly Father is nothing like the fathers on earth.

We must believe we are totally accepted in the son of God and are not an outsider trying to get by some impossible to please Father figure. We are reconciled by the blood of Jesus Christ once and for all. The wall of separation between us has been demolished by the cross, the blood and the willing sacrifice of a sinless man, Jesus the son of the living God.

Also the hardships and afflictions we all face and often go through are not representative of God's love for us. Trials and tribulations are part of living on earth. Because of Jesus we have help to get through the grind of troubles.

Right now in my own life there are so many troubles, hardships, pain and afflictions I would not even like to list them. Just ask for prayers please. Yet in the midst of them I must know that what I suffer is not an indication of how God the Father, God the son and God the Holy Spirit see me.

We are accepted in the beloved.
