We have this mind in us, In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Philippians 2:5 What about you all?
Philippians 2 KJV

This is as helpful as quoting Matt 5:48 'be perfect as the Lord your God is perfect.'

How does one form a mind like that of Jesus?
Do you have any tips?

You are saying that by keeping the commandments will form a Christlike mindset.

How does the rote keeping of regulations alter ones thinking process?
If your mind, body, and spirit belongs to GOD, in time will let you know, I think of the scriptures as the Lord Jesus Christ have said: John 14:26

Philippians 4:8, Philippians 4 KJV
There is much more scriptures, but I do not won't to get off to the OP.

If the 2nd quote is true then the first quote is not needed and neither help anyone who doesn't have the mind of Christ.

It would be helpfull if you added.
To achieve this one has to read the bible, think about what it says, pray about it and talk with other Christians about it in order to learn and grow and be transformed.

2 Peter 1:19 (KJV) - Forerunner Commentary ,

Romans 12:2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will.

If you are truly born again and then baptized in the Holy Spirit then indeed ;

1 Corinthians 2:16 KJVS
For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

As far as what you are saying, Ephesians 4:30, and,

Bible Gateway passage: 1 John 2 - King James Version

If one is sealed by the spirit, how then does one transform ?

You simple assume that who ever reads an isolated verse will know how to apply that verse.

That is hardly the practise of a serious Christian seeking to help other Christians develop and grow.

If God is laying these verses on your heart to tell others, he will also be telling you how to apply them.
If you don't have how to apply the verse the verse is not coming from God.

As you read the bible you find that the authors expound and apply there teaching so readers can grow as a result of reading what has been written.

Tips?

What i do that has proven successful...
I know the enemy so that I recognize its tricks of doubt, distractions, any personal indignations, laziness, any shred of unkind thoughts, any smidgeon of worry...
by the sheer grace of God..I banish any of these thoughts that may enter the mind.

Then, I practice diligently Jesus' instructions that are a safety line leading to clarity on this earth and forever...
Do not worry
Give him my burdens
Be anxious for nothing
Cast my cares
Focus on the things above
and so on.

If my cup is filled with any worry or stress of any kind,
( shame, anger, judgment, separation from Him...)..it can not be filled with God's Divine Love...there is simply no room.
If I am not filled with My Father's Divine Love..what am I?
Perhaps a person 'trying'.
I will not settle for that.

So focus...focusing on the Divine Presence is how I keep the Mind of Christ...
so far so good...:)...it is a constant, conscious effort to desire Him and nothing else...
not praise, a new 'thing', not even comfort...just Him; loving Him, allowing Him to love me, meaning no blocks.
All else comes...

Instead of IF you said, I would say Since one is sealed by the spirit, they would know how then does one transform: Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God. Romans 12:2

I was finally asked by a friend that was having difficulty with a terrible boss,
"How do you give your burdens to God...I mean how do you DO it?"
Good ques..cuz i didnt know myself at one time!
Then, I lost my keys and had an appt...I recognized, "OH, now THIS anxiety
is a burden! Im giving this to you, Lord...You take care of this, please."
(Knowing full well He would, of course.)
Within less than 2 min my mind was given a sudden idea...Look under the newspaper.
And there they were..but along with that the appt was running late.

That may have been in the first week I made the solid decision to practice what Jesus told me to do. Since then, any thing...and there are so many burdens in this world...
How am I going to get to NY? How am I going to be able to do this, pay for that, what am I going to wear!
But, Paul said...Be anxious for nothing...funny how he didnt say, Be anxious for 5% of things.
"Nothing" means nothing. Nothing. Give it to the Lord...period.
It doesnt matter what it is...losing a button to not having your mortgage.

Either one follows what Jesus instructed or one does not.
There really is no gray area.
I dunno if this helps anyone..but I find my friends are NOT using the tools for this life that Jesus gave us and they are usually racked with problems.
Give Him your burdens...Do not fear...ask and receive...life can be very simple
when one follows Jesus' instructions...I have found.

So the answer to my friend? You just say," I refuse to be bothered by this thing...I give it to You Lord to handle it...to take care of this weight on me so we can be together with no silly obstacles. Thank you..Amen". Smile...
And then know it will be done.
Jesus said so.

You must be trying to get me to do things your way or somebody else, why don't you do that for yourself.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 2 Timothy 3:16

2 Timothy 3 KJV
