That great about your gm. I could listen for ever to old timers. My home town Bonham Texas is next to Oklahoma which as Indian Nation. My own gm had many stories.

My grandmother was born in Texas in 1903 but moved with her parents from there to Oklahoma in 1909 when she was 6 years old. They packed all of their belongings in a covered wagon and made the move. In 1923, her first child, my mother was born in Wewoka. In 2003 my grandmother died at the age of 100 years and 6 months. She had never in her life driven an automobile. There are still lots of stories to be told, if we are paying attention and/or asking questions. Each time I hear one, I try to at least write some of it down, preferably on my computer. My computer contains lots of that kind of stuff including my autobiography started many years ago and only periodically updated.

Here's an avatar I used to use when I first signed on to forums. I used to teach catechism. I loved teaching kids about Jesus and His love. (6 years). Then I stopped teaching and I started using different avatars and you know the rest of the story. I can't decide!!
