When people look outside the Bible for their answers they are almost always in error especially when the subject concerns the end times.

Time and again, I've said God is not concerned about the economy of the world rather the sin-sicked souls of mankind.

The Bible is a historical, spiritual, as well as a law book written by God to tell us of our predicament of sin, but there is good news.

Jesus said there will be rumors of war in the end times, which we are in, but the end is not yet. There are still events that must occur like, the Abomination of Desolation (which I believe is happening today), the fruition/culmination of Daniel's 70 Weeks, and the revealing of the Wicked one.

I think Jesus was speaking of the signs that will start to usher in His rule...2nd coming? I am pretty sure He did not mean the signs that many today seek IMO- that is all nothing but sensationalism and entertainment for "filthy lucre". And those who seek these supernatural "signs and wonders" will be left empty. Again, in my opinion as well as experience. I. M. O.

Hmm, In the O.T. days, I know they were rarely welcomed, lol..they seemed to hold warnings from God. In the N.T., the last guy to be called a prophet was John the Baptist: Matthew 11:11-14 MKJV Truly I say to you, Among those who have been born of women there has not risen a greater one than John the Baptist.... For all the Prophets and the Law prophesied until John. (14) And if you will receive it, this is Elijah who is to come'
Unless you are talking about the gift of prophecy?

1. Actually "the last days" began with the first coming of Christ and include the outpouring of the Holy Spirit: God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds...
And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams (Heb 1:1,2; Acts 2:17)

2. But towards the end of the last days are "the latter times" (in which we are now living): Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils... This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.(1 Tim 4:1; 2 Tim 3:1).

3. And at the end of "the latter times" will be "the last day" (singular), which is not a 24 hour day but a period of time before time comes to an end: And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. (John 6:40).

This "last day" is actually connected with the two resurrections (the resurrections of the just and the unjust) but those two resurrections are separated by at least 1,000 years: And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust. (Acts 24:16)

So we are now in the latter times of the last days, but the last day is still a ways off. There is a lot of confusion because Christians have not properly discerned these nuances.

I am specifically referring to prophesy. EX: The prophesy of Daniel...

This is a specific timeline of the return of Christ....
Or when Jesus said....King James Bible
But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:5Let no one on the housetop go back inside to retrieve anything from his house. 16And let no one in the field return for his cloak.…

These are signs and times that are prophesied to happen to know when He will return.
