I think people should be involved with a local congregation.

I wonder if it this same rationale is applied to Christian Forums that ask for donations to be a member......and the key thing about these television ministries is you can watch them for weeks and months and never donate a single penny....yet you watch.....when they ask, key word ask, for a donation it is up to the viewer whether or not they want to donate to that ministry.....how can any ministry grow and prosper except that someone donated out of their desire of their heart to be a part of that ministry....you make it sound like these t.v. evangelists forced people to donate to them.....none of them that I know of forces anyone to donate to their ministry....so what should we do to stop this profiting of the ministries on t.v. or other public domains? Should we go and demand everyone stop donating? What would you do to solve this problem that seems to offend you so much.

But let's not stop with just tv evangelists....what about Christian music artists? What about churches and religions....the Catholic Church is the wealthiest of all denominations....how did they become so wealthy? Where does this argument end? What about people who write books? Oh and those who produce movies and those who set up charitable centers to feed the poor....where does there money come from? It is baffling to me that there is any religious organization profiting based on the preconceived notions presented here.....there shouldn't be one single organization that has prospered according to your philosophy.

Also the Bible teaches us that we all will face the trial by fire....just a few versus....

Isaiah 48:10 - Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.

All who believe upon Him will have their faith tried....hopefully not to the extent of Job but definitely in some way....

Should we go and demand everyone stop donating? What would you do to solve this problem that seems to offend you so much.

Firstly, I do not watch any of these preachers. But even so, to answer your question, the problem can only be solved when the multi-millionaire preachers are convicted by the Holy Spirit to stop diverting the donations provided for genuine ministry, and assume that they were sent to enrich them personally. But even then, chances are they would not listen to the Holy Spirit.

What is one lost soul saved from hell worth?? Some "TV Preachers" HAVE SEEN MILLIONS SAVED !!! And their attackers, slanderers, false witness and mockers are allowing satan to use them as his tool, fool, puppet!!!

Which way should we be going?

So then give it all away, all of our riches and start from the very lowest place, even at the bottom. Is that not what Stephen had? Do we suppose that he was rich in all of things of this world when they threw that rocks at him killed his body of flesh?

And then what was it the Jesus said with regard to John the Baptist?

"And as these went their way, Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness to behold? a reed shaken with the wind?
But what went ye out to see? a man clothed in soft raiment? Behold, they that wear soft raiment are in kings' houses." Matt 11:7-8

So then again, what is it that Jesus says we are to seek? A big house, and large bank account and of the material riches of this world? Hmmm?

"But seek ye first his kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." Matt 6:33

Material riches or poverty may be our part in that which is "added" but those are not what we are to seek, are they?

Consider this about the one mentioned above! Jesus Invited him to Join, and follow, But He went away disturbed for He had much!
I know this is speculation, BUT could this young man been Paul! Paul went after the Way, with a vengeance!

Let us not forget, that at the temptation of Our Lord, Satan offered Him the Wealth of the World, Stating, I will give it to Who I choose.
If you notice, the Lord did not disagree with Satan. God is a Legalist , when Adam fell, Satan became the prince of this world, he was defeated by the Lord at the cross, and when the Lamb strip's the seal's from the deed to this world it will be over.
Paul even states that Satan is the god of His age, and still is today, So anyone who teaches false Doctrine can be enriched by the wicked one!
Not saying all are teaching false doctrine, one must be wise in there discernment before just sending money!
