I read a little of the health problems some of you are experiencing. I deal with some of that old age creaky joints & whatnot too. Bette Davis said it best, but I don't remember the quote...something about getting old is not for wimps.
Prayer helps. Sometimes I tell God that He needs to fix me up enough that I can do what I'm supposed to do. I always ask Him to cure me. Guess what? He has cured some things. I will tell that story in testimony when I get a chance.

Bahaha staying gone didn't last long. I was having a very emotional time...I just need to take a break once in awhile and unless I say I'm not getting back on at all, it.seems I don't have good self control. I have sure felt a lot better and appreciate all the prayers.

Just try to be flexible and led by the Spirit.
I always find that when we try to dictate to our life and 'make rules' then we fall flat and it makes us miserable. So I don't ever do it.
Just like the "New Years resolutions" we only make them ....to break them. Willpower never works in my life...but Spirit led power does.:)

Oh, yeah, Self-Control may be a "Fruit of the Spirit" but, like "patience" it takes a long time to ripen. I'm still very green.

Hello Mayflower, When things go wrong for me or I feel some thing is going to happen
I pray to GOD and explain in my prayers how I feel, which I know GOD all ready knows !
But I just pour out all I am thinking and ask GOD for help , and it seems to help me
one way or another. Some time to go through it and learn and other times , relief.

" girls went but they do not fish of course "
[Guess I'm the old lady , who no one wants to talk to if they do not have to.]
I know they care for me and love me , but that's that !
But , I feel just as lone some sitting here as I would have if I went along.
So here at least I have the computer .......

We have worn out our usefulness and now we have become just part of the furniture. It happens to all of us.

I've only been able to keep ONE N.Y.'s resolution, and it has been for over 25 years that I have kept it PERFECTLY..
