As most of us know....what seems like miracles to some ...someone else sees as everyday occurrences...since isn't a Debate Section, please refrain, thanks.
But, I see faith in God to manifest extraordinary things that really are simply impossible.
I said to Nancy I would like to start this to list the many things in my life I give complete credit to my Heavenly Father for.
Join in anytime. I never lie...all these are so true and all are in praise of God.

This first one I never tell cuz it is too impossible, plus so detailed ...I will try to shorten it..

I had to prepare 3- 6x8' ft display walls/panels, sturdy, self-supported on a bare floor
taped at 8'x8', in 2 days and fill up the area with my stuff on the walls and all priced....
Why so fast? Cuz I got the dreaded call...."Come get your mother." (In another state with dementia) I thought I had another 2 months to prepare for her.

My boyfriend had cancer, couldn't help. I call a friend that lives close to the store, "Will you be home if I need a tool I forgot?"
She says, she may have the panels I need left over from a College play. What? (This is pretty impossible, right?)
These panels are self standing and when screwed together come 1/4 of an inch inside the taped area.
I get everything done in a day and a half....fly off, bring my mom, with Valium, here.

Since I thought I had months to bring my mother here as her caregiver...I never looked
once for a rental for her. (Cuz of her animals and mine we could not live together.)
I NEVER doubted that God would find me a place.
Then, I got a call, "Come to this Super Bowl party, now, a guy has a place to
rent for your mom." He was far away...
In a city of almost half a million...his rental in a brick house was 325 steps from my front
door.
Was I surprised...I never am.

I was driving 3 hours with a friend to an International Sculpture show.
We didn't have time for me to stop at the Health Food store first to get
something I was out of.

When we got to the town, we stopped for the bathrooms at a Thrift Store...I just
love them in diff cities.
I was compelled to turn around as I was going up the aisles stretching my legs.
There, at eye level, were 2 unopened bottles by Schiff of the $36 bottles I needed of
pycnogenol. Common item, right? ;) Each .86 cents a bottle.
And behind them were reading glasses my exact hair color.
Did I smile and get teary? Oh, yeah.

He is in our minds...He hears everything.
He is the most loving and affectionate Father ever. (Lover, Friend, our everything.)
:)

It's the smallest things that get me every time...whoda thunk the creator of the vast universe would care about our small details? ♥

"Was I surprised...I never am." <--- We should be expectant and just plain grateful because He is faithful ♥ After we see how He works, nothing should surprise us! Yay!

So this one time I was in the country in NY sawing something for my sister,
while her husband was at work.
She ran out of my favorite summer drink, and it was hot.
I drive her car 2-3 miles to a little store ...Oops. I forgot my purse!
No problem, right on the gum shelf just below the cashier's counter
was the $5 bill I needed.
Thank you, Lord.

Same trip I treated all of us to some coffees.
Strolled around a shop looking at art next door....no one was in there..
there was the $10 bill on the floor I had just spent treating them.
Oh, you are so cute, Lord. :)

So, a dear friend owned a photo shop; oh my, he could reproduce oil paintings with his printers
for artists.
I asked him to make 20 and 100 bills for me as bookmarks to get my
attention into more prosperity. (You have to enlarge them and change the color a bit to make
it legal....something goofy on the back side like a smile face...then laminate them.)
With these bills on my mind, believing in positive thought, as he was printing them...
at the end of my driveway while taking my doggy for a walk....right there
in a Nov. bare bush is a $20 bill. What?
Just as I pluck it a 'weathered guy' is walking my way from the Convenience store nearby
to the park way down the street where some hang out....( downtown city living, oh well.)
I say,' Excuse me....(he is wary)...I just found this, I don't need it...here.'
He cried.
In front of my house and just across the street...I found $150 more.
Mind you ....these bills were not 2 blocks away caught in bushes....they weren't
around the corner...they were on my property! Right there.
You are so in my mind, Lord and so cute!

My belief system that He is everywhere and is my provider and will take care
of me in every way completely is a deep rooted 'knowing'.
I speak with Him all day and ask Him for nothing...I just smile and say things like,
"I know you will pay my $1000 mortgage next week...there is no doubt
in my mind, thank You, Lord." :) And He always would.
(In an economy that was very bad...rem I am self employed.)

So, I am at my local Goodwill, hahaha, standing in front of
the Bible section, of course, lol. :)
When I hear a 14 yr old boy say to his 7-8 year old brother who was complaining
about not having milk for cereal again and was sick of it,
"Shut *p, mom is doin' the best she can."

(It was one day before mortgage was due...I was short $325).
A tingle and a wave comes over my whole body and there is a whisper inside to give
them money. I look, I have $37. I take a 20. Something inside says, 'Give them a 5.' (ego)
Another supernatural wave comes over me...clearly, I am to give them the 20 dollar bill.
And hand it to the 7 yr old sitting in the cart around the corner.

Later that same day...someone drops by...sees a stained glass in my window (it's not for sale).
I'm an artist...he asks how much and how he wants to take it back to Oregon...
I say $325.
"Thank You, Lord....I knew You would pull something outta Your hat!" :)

I share about God's providence throughout my life in the testimony forum. But once as a factory manager I demanded a fair wage for all employees for a fair amount of work. The owners came through, but this led to my dismissal over time. Through this, God provided a better job with enough income to retire early out of my own pocket some 10 years later.

Well, then, and this may sound silly or bragging...but you know I'm not...I give all praise to God Who adores us as the Father He is. (People that don't understand our happiness often think we
are too exuberant and roll their eyes, oh well)
But I can think of at least 3 xs, oops, 4xs, off hand, I have said to a friend,
"Well, I'm off to the Thrift Store to get a knife sharpener (or some thing else.)"
Always with complete confidence...otherwise, what a fool I would look like to come back empty handed, right?
These 3 of 4 things I have never seen at any Thrift places.
And I always come home with the item...
like a new Braun, high quality knife sharpener for $8, online for $140.
See, why I love Thrift Stores?
Or the time I came home after saying I would, with the perfect linen white blouse I wanted..
perfect length sleeves, perfect collar, in perfect condition...as if made just for me.
Friends just watch.
And their belief is awakening that we have the power in us that to ask, believe and receive.

However, I don't really ask," Lord, would you place a professional knife sharpener there for me?"
I just know it will be there, period.

PS, I want very little...I can think of 5 things, one a hardcover book, I found for $.25,
in maybe 8 years.
Cuz, I know how people think and accuse others of being materialistic and thinking we are using God like some trick in our pocket.
But, sometimes I really just want or need something. So what?

Like when my mechanic told me to get a new car, that I had a valve problem, what?
I wanted the exact same car, would be my third....within 100 miles there were 2...where?
a bike ride from my house or over an hour away.
Within 1 day it was mine in my driveway...it is a NOT a common vehicle.
Did I know and have confidence my Dad would provide me with one? Of course.
Cuz, I love Him, rely on Him, He is in my head, my thoughts.
And, He knows my past struggles that I have overcome with His aid.

Do I exude confidence in God? Oh my...do I.
Does that confuse some? Do they think I am setting myself up for a fall?
Does it turn some off a little? Oh yeah...
Cuz they don't understand the power of faith and the certainty of solid belief, with zero doubt.

In my town, they just 2 weeks ago closed my favorite thrift store, I have been going there for decades as, the selections and prices were right up my alley.. I have never gotten so many compliments wearing used clothes than I ever did with "new" clothes. NOT that I'm looking for compliments! My heart is broken over the store closing but, Iknow God will lead me to another...my fave restaurant has closed too, also been going there since the 70's!!! Well, that is one thing that remains the same...change :(
Your testimonies are awesome. I will put up a couple. :)

Last summer, a friend and myself were sitting on my porch. It was a beautiful day with few clouds. I started to notice clouds forming what looked like an E. It became a perfect capital E. then, a V was formed to the left of the E, a PERFECT V and E...same size, not cloud connection. It continued on to form a perfect O, and then the L...not done. THEN...as the word, LOVE, written from right to left...like a Hebrew writes, all caps and PERFECTLY spaced and no touching...a PERFECT shape of a heart formed under the L. We were gape mouthed and frozen in place as...that could NOT have been happenstance! One of my regular prayers is that God would show me and make me AWARE of His many awesome wonders. By the time we were back to "normal", lol and quickly scrambled to get a camera or a phone to take a pic...the word and heart had dissipated. NEVER will I ever forget how perfect that was. Wow. Just, wow.

4 years ago, this coming December 15th will mark the last day of my work life. My walk with our Abba, was not where it should have been. I knew it was not but I also had been feeling His pull. After 43 solid years of working to keep myself above water, I found myself in the deepest of depressions and turned to booze to numb as, I felt totally empty of purpose in life. Funny how much our work life can be considered part of our social life! I stayed in that mire for over a year and knew I was slowly killing myself. God literally brought me to my knees, my face! Prone! Never did I do that before. I do not remember the words I spoke, they were spoken through many tears. After I do not know how long I was down there, I just know that when I got up, I could not stop saying the words "I SEE now, I really SEE! That went on for days and days, I was suddenly on top of the world! Of course, having 3 rescue dogs and a home of my own...no longer able to work, I thought sure I would have to walk away from my mortgage; and I was okay with that because my trust in His provisions grew exponentially, i short order. So, my prayers were totally for His will in my life, I don't know what to do God but You DO! Less than 3 months later, I received the largest sum of money I ever did, coming from something I never really expected. I was in 2 accidents in the Air Force in the early 1980's. One put me in the hospital for 2 weeks. I got pretty banged up. Being as I was young then, and thought I was pretty tough, and nothing would keep me down...and it didn't for decades after...I can take a lot of pain before I would complain of it or take a pain pill. Long short, as I was relaxing and even excited to see what God would do for a place for me to live. One day shortly after that...I received a check for $21,000.00....yes, fainting kind of money to me! Hence, ALL bills as well as my truck-payed off. I had, over the years forgotten sending my military medical records to the DAV. Since I had been praying to be a better steward of my money, God knew I was sincere as I do not believe He would have blessed me with that. Above and beyond I could have ever dreamed or thought of. HE is our all in all ♥

Oh my goodness, Nancy! Thank you! Plus we got to know you better!!! xxoo :)

So....there I was on a big stretch from Philly back to Colorado on a big plane,2- 3years ago. (No more relatives to visit on the East Coast, my sis lives with me now)
A well dressed black biz woman was next to me in the middle, me on the aisle always.
Nothing remarkable about her, 57 yr old. but before we even took off...a 'wave' came over me.
(always that 'wave', ha!) Well, now we are in the air for a minute.
I sigh to myself, inside saying to the Holy Spirit, "Well, alright!!!" Since, it won't let up. after
on the 4th 'wave' sweeping over me, I simply turned to my neighbor (and do not word it as
a statement, but rather a question, which it wasn't)...
"Excuse me, I am being compelled to say to you, "You are a Christian, Baptized in the Holy Spirit,
and speak in Tongues (?)" She says, immediately, "Yes, I am."
I have nothing else to say...I think I just said, "uh-huh" and we both smiled.
A bit later she shows me a book by a minister she is reading..."Ah, very nice.
'And are you doing healings?'
Her: "No."
"Well, I encourage you to not stop where you are and continue on with healings."
She said she would meditate on that.

Nothing else was remarkable about the flight after that. She did seem flattered as if she was
so holy she was sending out a vibe...she was not at all.
I would love for her to realize later, it was a message to her and I was simply the messenger...
and how remarkable the whole thing was. (!!)

Oh, those moments when we are used! We praise You, Lord.

I guess in that encounter you had with that woman, 4 times was the charm :) you heard and listened and acted. I wish I was that courageous, enough to speak to a stranger.

Well, the Holy Spirit wasn't going to leave me alone! I am very familiar with the Holy Spirit and my Father!
They are little pranksters at times! They can be pushing you out on a stage as you're saying ,"Noooo!".

Ha! Yeah, kicking and screaming while you obey anyhow...kind of reminds me of Jonah. God is funny...I would LOVE to know what His laugh sounds like!
