“...running to battle.” To devour the flesh as it were fire. A “witness” against those (heaping treasure unto yourself) which have kept them (others)back by fraud.

“His meat will be locusts...” Power given to John over the enemy sent to devour and consume. Turning many hearts of the children of Israel to the Lord their God. Similar to: Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Been thinking about your comment since you posted it yesterday. “Does anyone else think we are close to America collapsing?” I couldn’t tell (especially with the emoji) how you meant it: seriously or as sarcasm. The point there being the Revelation of Jesus Christ(Man restoration to God) is what restores what the cankerworm has eaten. “Their worm dieth not.” We see this in Job being restored more abundantly. Job 42:12-13 So the Lord blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses. [13] He had also seven sons and three daughters.

James 5:11 Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.

so, as to when did i realize it, basically yesterday lol, i'm still realizing it
i essentially read about this contemporary guy--who lived in our time iow--who was taken up to the third heaven--whether in the body or out of it i don't know--who had a conversation with some...one who lived or was present in the Dark Ages, and the guy was telling the one how bad things were here on earth, and while the one wasn't exactly laughing at him or anything there were these two films playing behind him side by side, one with a movie from the Dark Ages and another from contemporary life, and when they got to the part where the DA lady is carrying water back from a 5 mile trek to get it, in the snow, uphill both ways, oh and of course she was pregnant too, and the other lady is turning on a tap to get hot water, well the guy just got really quiet and started looking for a tree to hide behind, only there weren't any

amen, but what we don't see is Job's sin, right, Job's confessions--plural--are overlooked in the story, bc Job was "a righteous man," and the diff in his description there v say Noah's is not reflected upon imo, Job becomes a story about a sinless guy who God just capriciously decided to nonetheless teach some lesson that is never quite clarified, or more often worse, gets clarified into "why do bad things happen to good people?" or some similar tripe

Why this subject is important to me(maybe to me only and that is okay since He speaks to us all differently) but: it was an answer to a prayer, or a question. Who is God really? What Is His will? because man tells conflicting stories, sometimes, of a God I’m not so sure I know (or even of one I’m not sure I want to know.)

Yes. Their crops(their labors and increase.) destroyed. “You will cast out seed and bring in very little.” But His seed (the Word) will bring increase. “Sow to the Spirit and not the flesh”. Do not all those plagues and locust, death of the first born all coming upon Egypt... all of it...”let My people go so that they may serve Me.” if you laid it over the book of Revelation...they are companions. The beginning and the end. Are you determined to make it stay literal?
