My thread is called Safe from the storm. And thank you for the comment. I am not a writer but I do love to write bits of things like that as God inspires me - poems too. I call them my Life Lessons. God often shows me things from nature or every day life; things that teach me something in a very simple way about living the Christian life and I love to share them. And I've also had many 'God dreams' too, again which have taught me things in a simple way. I hope to share more with the good folks on here.

I am one of many that are trying to tell you that The Lord nailed him to that stick, in order to cover yours and my filth to reconcile us to himself. The same thing I just told two other alcoholics. Difference is they seemed to receive it, only God knows.

The cure is very simple SBG, cut off your beliefs.

Truth: I only developed mental illness after I was exposed to religious beliefs.

Fact: I have not relapsed back into psychosis since my thinking has changed from forming subjective opinions about my environment, to forming realistic ones.

Theory: A belief will not give a person an accurate depiction of what they sense about their environment. Since a belief about anything requires that person to accept an idea about their environment, that's based on assumption.

So...like, you've said aliens can probably mess with our minds. Were you joking when you said it? Because it doesn't seem like forming a realistic opinion to me. Then again, God doesn't seem like a realistic thing to you.

But I think I can somewhat understand you thinking its safer to not accept something as reality for sure since you don't know which of your thoughts or opinions could be the result of schizophrenia...?

You can have any opinion about anything, any idea in your head. But when you believe that idea in your head is absolute truth before you confirm it factually, then a non-absolute becomes real.

Well, those who believe they know real love should really know how to exercise it. For me, I am the man of iniquity in the eyes of Christians, but I'm expected to be Christ like?

Oh, I see, you can behave toward Christians any way you want but you expect love in return? Satan is the accuser of the brethren--he even had the nerve to taunt the Lord of Glory, but I never noticed anywhere in Scripture where he demanded love in return.
