He also said I was a blasphemer, but God forgave him because he did the things he did in ignorance and unbelief.Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is when someone seals their mind, spirit and heart to listening to the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit leads people salvation. But he cannot lead anyone to salvation if they absolutely refused to listen to him.
Think about it. Paul was a persecutor of Christians. A top cop for the Pharisees. But he became a lead voice for Christ and Christians.
In all his sin he was still open to hearing the Holy Spirit.
No born-again believer commit this sin.I see many assumptions going on in the above posts.
.
Here is a clue: ONLY Born Again Christians can commit the unpardonable sin. Everyone else, are "condemned already"- John 3:18. So, if a person hears about Christ and God's forgiveness through Him, and walks away in disbelief, THEY REMAIN
"condemned already". They are still able and allowed to receive God's Grace through faith, as long as they have breath.
Study KJV- Heb. 10:26-30
[26] For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
[27] But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
[28] He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
[29] Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
[30] For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.
> His people are Born again Christians!! Rom. 8:9
Clue #2- The Lord shall judge HIS people.
Did you truly study KJV- Heb. 10 in relation to John 3:18?No born-again believer commit this sin.
The KJV archaic English gives too many misunderstandings. Plus it just downright has a lot of errors in its translation.Did you truly study KJV- Heb. 10 in relation to John 3:18?

EVERY person who is physically born, is born "condemned already", being at birth unsaved, and a child of the devil. "Flesh and blood shall not inherit the KoG".
In their original condition, being "the natural man", "the son of perdition (destruction)", they are in need of the grace of God's forgiveness and His Gift of the Holy Spirit for Eternal life.
.
For every person who hears the "call", but refuses to repent towards God, their original condition of being "condemned already" remains. Therefore, such a person is not (and cannot be) condemned twice, just because they didn't come to God, through Jesus, when they were young in life.
All of such, are still able and are allowed by God, to repent towards Him, through Jesus, as long as they have breath.
2 Pet. 3[9] The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish (remain condemned), but that all should come to repentance.
.
However, for all who have come to repentance towards God, through Jesus, and have been made
"partakers of the divine nature", but then despise the Holy covenant of the Blood of Christ, wherewith they were sanctified, there remaineth no more the sacrifice for sins, but rather are in waiting of a fiery judgment.
For that, their sin, to account the blood of Christ to be an unholy thing, wherewith they were sanctified, that is what is unforgiveable.
"The Lord shall judge HIS PEOPLE, of which are all who are born again, being one of His!! Rom. 8:9
Too many errors and misunderstandings? The KJV archaic English gives too many misunderstandings. Plus it just downright has a lot of errors in its translation.
KJV versus Modern TranslationsToo many errors and misunderstandings?
Why? Because it has a clear tendency to speak against wild imaginings and fabrications?
Maybe misunderstandings are so, for those who feast on the regurgitated, religious persuasions of "church-ianity", and the many "fake bibles" , that are translated from "Westcott and Hort", one of them being the JW bible.
.
If you only knew how wrong you are!
But that is not possible for you to know, whereas you appear to pick and choose, and then blend many bibles to make a doctrine to your liking.
"Bible-bub" is only one tool of satan's trade- confusion!
Luke 21[34] And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
[35] For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
Yes, that is the issue.
That is inaccurate. The TR was written by a Catholic priest. The KJV does not line up 100% with the TR.Yes, that is the issue.
KJV- one school of thought, translated from the Textus Receptus Greek text.
.
Many Modern Versions- many schools of thought, all translated from the Wescott and Hort Greek text.
You need to watch the videos. They disprove your claims. The problem, @CoreIssue, is that there are many translations which translate the words slightly differently; and I have seen how the differences in translation have the capability of making the text not say what it says in other versions, especially the kjv.
In other words, there is the capability of the hearer to reject what is said to them in one translation and go to another that satisfies them better.
My premise is this: that the people who translated some of the newer, watered-down, New Age translations, are, in fact, teachers; and that in rejecting what the kjv has to say and going to some of the newer translations, people, are, in fact, heaping to themselves teachers to tell them what their itching ears want to hear (see 2 Timothy 4:1-5).
