You sure like name calling I see. Well...since you are speaking scripture...neither you or your friends on her ever answered my question, asked awhile back. John : "And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world." I will not bring up in here all of the many, many other scriptures speaking to this.
BTW-how come I NEVER see Calvinists talk much at all, about God's Love? I mean, it IS a part of His character, yes?

Matthew 7
15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

It's sad but true.

My friend Bob who is a preacher says that you can recognise wolves in sheep's' clothing by their footprints.

Of course Nancy, I did.;)

My friend is the pastor in a Christian biker tribe and also the pastor of a non-denominational church and sometimes preaches wearing his leathers. His back patch says Jesus is Lord. I have know him for many years and he and his wife are lovely godly people. Once we went into a restraint together and he took off his jacket and hung it on the back of his chair. When one of the young waiters saw it he move the chair so that it could be seen by more people and said he wanted to proclaim the Lord to the whole room. It turned out he had been brought up as a Muslim and we became friends and prayed for each other.

“For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.” (2 Corinthians 11:13–15)

Wow, that's some witness! He sounds very "down to earth" lol...so to speak. Just the words on the back of his jacket was an awesome witness, without opening his mouth. Good stuff!

He is down to earth. He wears denim dungarees and has a pony tail. He's a bit of a hill billy on the quiet. He tried to fit into the church mold of decent trousers, shirt and tie but it just wasn't him.

How is that unbelievable? You need to humble yourself. Why not just heed the biblical advice given you? Too proud of yourself?

Who said you can't give opinions? That's right, no one. I just pointed out that your opinions aren't truth, or Scriptural. Amazingly you're offended more over your made up beliefs being exposed than you are offending the truth shown you.

And for the record can you show me where I've given others opinions and interpretations? That's right, you can't. Your assertion is then #fakenews just like the gospel you preach.

You know, if you spent some time actually reading Scripture and studying context than preaching your opinion you'd arrive at the truths we've shown you. But you're too busy for that because you've placed your opinion above Scripture and insult those who know what they're talking about.

Many like this poster Nancy find it much easier to jump on a bandwagon of those who would be critical of those who believe in the grace of God, rather than roll up their sleeves like the Bereans did and put us to the test.

Nancy if I just posted my feelings and opinions, my fellow Cals would jump all over me, and rightly so. They would know instantly that I was drifting from the anchor of scripture. These brothers on here have been very faithful to question, challenge, and provoke me to prove my statements several times in years past. I can say I am thankful for each and every challenge and question. That is the Love of God being expressed toward me, or you trying to help you stay on target.

Winner!

What still gets me is that in every insult or denial of what we've shown as biblical Gospel giving God all the glory in salvation the objective is to retract giving him all the glory and speak of "free will," "human ability," their "genuine love for God while lost," "voting one's self into heaven," that God "saw how they would love him!" while dead in sin so decided to save them, and finally how their opinion, not Biblical exegesis is their gospel.

Don't dare show them their mighty opinions aren't authoritative and are flawed to say the least. It is all a false gospel of self. I believe they do it in ignorance for the most part, maybe not.

The fact is all of it denies the Gospel of grace and is definitely a gospel of merited salvation by their foreseen actions. Then they call us arrogant for giving God all glory and for showing election is due to nothing good in us.

Unreal that they cannot see this.

Their gospel is "But ME!" ours is "But GOD..." Ephesians 2:4.

Completely false, therefore a Straw Man. Argue against it all you wish. That way you can avoid the true objections, and hopefully no one will notice.

Much love!
