Religious Freedom, or lack thereof, in Australia.

I could have posted this in any number of forums, but settled on this because the subject matter is absolutely a sign of the times in which we live. Have a listen to this well reasoned and clear expose of the current situation Christians are facing in Australia, particularly in the state where I live, Victoria.

I'm a kiwi, so if things get too bad, I can always run home. LOL. But yep, I don't think NZ is far behind. Very difficult time for Christians in positions where they have to juggle their responsibilities to the state, and the conscientious scruples to their faith. Like my son-in-law who is the principal of a local Church school. It is a fine balancing act that has to be maintained in order to preserve for as long as possible the standards and ethics related to our faith, and keeping at bay the blatant attempts to override those ethics. And when it is the government who is making those attacks...the Christian lobby in Australia is doing a sterling job, against a very liberal foe, especially here in Vic.

Not that closely.
I just hope that the LGBT crowd will overstep the mark of common sense and human rights and make themselves look what they are: bigoted and pushing their own agenda to the detriment of society. They have much similarity to the American KKK in organization, but the scary thing is they control the media.
