Apostle Paul is attacked and hated because he exposes the pet sins of little sin loving men!!

2 Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.

1Corinthians 6:9-11 do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? He is also hated because of his huge emphasis on the grace of the Lord.

We want justice for our enemies; but give me grace!

Those who harbor unforgiveness towards those who have wronged them cannot handle the preaching by the apostle Paul of the doctrines of free grace. They may receive it as it applies to themselves; but don't apply it to the person who has wronged me!

Of course, the righteousness that is witnessed (attested to) by the law and the prophets is indeed righteousness according to the law and the prophets. Though it comes not by obeying a set of do's and don'ts, but by the inner transformation that comes through faith in the blood of Jesus Christ. As we bear the fruit of the Holy Spirit, there is nothing that we will do that will be in violation of the spirit of any law, Galatians 5:22-23.

We are dead to the law in the sense that there is now therefore no condemnation for them who are in Christ Jesus. The law no longer condemns us from the outside, as a letter that is written on tables of stone; but it governs us from the inside, as a spirit that is written on fleshy tables of human hearts. We are forgiven of past, present, and future sin(s); however we are also born again of the Holy Spirit. And therefore the love of the Lord is shed abroad in our hearts through the Holy Ghost which is given to us. And this love, which is not in word or in tongue only, but in deed and in truth, is the fulfilling of the righteousness of the law within us.

Yes, yes, of course, but I was simply adding a couple of reasons why Paul is attacked, not trying to describe our sanctified walk in Christ.

I am beginning to think I have been on Christian forums too long.

What I see is there are those who think it is their duty to get on forums and tell others that they must stop sinning in order to get into Heaven.

I have news for them. A child of God answers to God ONLY.

What I see is that there are some who must judge that others are sinning and will go to Hell. They think they are the judge of the children of God because they think they do not sin any longer. They just deceive themselves. They look at a church and think that it is full of the GOOD people but in reality it has many who are just there to show themselves as GOOD people.

But God looks into the heart and knows His children and sees those that will become His children and it won't be the self-righteous.

The gospel that saves is very simple. God paid for all the sins of the world. The person who accepts His payment for their sins will be saved. WHY? Because the gospel of God's grace shows that God ALONE is righteous for He laid down His life for the sins of all mankind. When a person acknowledges this God will save them by making them His child in Christ.

All praise and glory belongs to Jesus, not those who get on forums to deceive others by saying they no longer sin in the flesh. They try to glorify themselves and what they do.

Heb 10:28-29
28 Anyone who has rejected Moses' law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.
29 Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace?

FYI, I do not believe, and therefore I would not preach, that a person must be sinlessly perfect in order to be saved.

I believe that if anyone is truly born again, their reaction when they blow it and live according to the flesh would be Wretched man that I am! Who shall deliver me from the body of this death? (Romans 7:24).

Those who have this attitude about their sins, basically have the desire to be set free from them.

To them it would be good news to find out that they can walk in a state of entire sanctification (1 Thessalonians 5:23-24, Hebrews 10:14, 1 John 3:9); though I would not define the above as sinless perfection (see 1 John 1:8). Sin is not eradicated, but the person is made dead to the element of sin (Romans 7:8, Romans 6:6, Galatians 5:24); so that it no longer has power over them as a principle of control in their lives.

If a person has not yet obtained this second benefit (2 Corinthians 1:15), it does not mean that they are not saved. The blood of Christ brings forgiveness of sin(s). So then, if they are covered by the blood, their sins will not be imputed to them (Romans 4:7-8).

Of course, the blood of Christ does not only justify (Romans 5:9); it also sanctifies (Hebrews 13:12, Hebrews 10:29) and cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7, Titus 2:14).

I will leave it up to you to decide within your heart whether the blood, when it is applied, can do one thing and not also do the others.

I will say that for the one who has a good conscience and is afflicted over his failure, that there is good news in the word of the Lord that he does not have to continue to live in such a way as to do those things that go against his conscience. He can have victory over the doing of sin(s) in the power of the Holy Ghost (see Romans 8:13). While sin continues to be an element dwelling in his mortal flesh, it can be rendered dead (again, Romans 7:8, Romans 6:6, Galatians 5:24) so that he no longer has to sin, if he does not want to. A man is not bound to commit sin, is what I am saying: he can know the truth and the truth can set him free (see John 8:31-36).
