@Keraz , I was asking why you thought I believe pre-trib rapture because I wanted to avoid trials and such.

2/ Your motive is to 'escape' the trials and testing that we are plainly told; all must endure.

I'm asking why you would think that I believe pre-trib rapture because I want to escape the trials and testing?

Much love!

Very feeble... both of you. Men are setting themselves up as prophets and people who believe in what they are selling are shelling out their $ to clamor after the words they write. If "Christians" really believed the words of the Bible, there would be almost none of those "Rapture" books sold. But the truth is that half the people in churches run out to buy them.

But as there is no actual scripture that says God intends to remove His people to heaven, at any time, then that belief is questionable.
Romans 9:24-26
You keep saying that but no matter how many times by many people you are shown scriptures , you deny and reject it.
Yet , with your beliefs , I reject the replacement theology you teach, which has not any basis in scripture and denies God's plans and purposes for the nation of Israel.

It's ridiculous the assumptions. I've never bought or read a rapture book in my life, I don't know any pre-trib believers who have read any of those predictions.
Yet how many people are buying or downloading books by the false prophets of the NAR? or giving money to the Benny Hinns or other false healers, False prophets , or making those self proclaimed bishops rich who tell people to sow into their ministries $$$$$$$$ sowing the prosperity gospel?

Presuppositional Apologetics sure defines a lot of thinking on here. (Here is what the verse we are going to read means.) [The Bible as "I" read it.]

I don't have to tolerate those, nor ppl pissing on my cornflakes. Friends and neighbors are for irl imo. Truth cuts like a knife, yeh?

I agree. I can't understand why some poeple seem to take it personally when their beliefs are challenged. What's the point in taking a position on an issue if we're not confident enough in it to allow it to stand the test of scrutiny? Jesus spoke purely unadulterated truth and yet He was targeted constantly for what He believed. I've never yet read where He got mad or insulting toward those who He without question knew were full of bulldookey.

It's why spiritualizing the bible is faulty and makes for multiple interpretations of the Scriptures.

Yes--one hears, "Well, this symbolizes this" and "Oh, that symbolizes that..." And often one group of "spiritualizers" state things that are the exact opposite of what other "spiritualizers" say. Always best to follow the surface text and literally unless to do so produces an absurdity.

So, you're looking for a literal seven headed, leopard-bodied, bear-footed, lion-mouthed creature to arise out of the sea?
Literal interpretation follows along with the written scripture as it is interpreted in context , and so when the scripture is making a metaphor or using a colorful illustration that is understood.

What about calling the Jewish religious authorities "Sons of the devil"?

The Book of Revelation and the Book of Daniel contain a fair number of symbols. But it is clear from the stated context that they were contained in dreams and visions. Almost all of the other Scriptures are straight forward as they relate events.

All sorts of people set themselves up as all sorts of things. Yeah, there are a lot of books sold that I don't agree with. Just the same, the prophecies in the Bible remain unchanged.

Much love
