Behold's gospel in a nutshell-
Do the Billy Graham altar prayer= saved forever. "Discipleship"- is optional- since you are saved no matter how you live your life full of 100% fleshly life of all sins, and if you also deny Christ until the day you die- still saved. This is what I call OSAS- 2.0
Every sin is gone- there is no sin because there is no law.
Any words of Jesus' before the cross of Jesus do not matter.
Only Paul taught the true gospel.:confused
Do not repent . Do not confess, Do not baptize. Do not need to obey the Lord.
That's that.
Christ taught Paul - Gal 1:11-12
Saved, sealed, justified c/- 1 Cor 15:1-4, Eph 1:13, Eph 4:30
Water baptize - for Christ sent me NOT to baptize - 1 Cor 1:17
ACTIONS required to be saved, sealed, justified :-
Titus 3:
5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
Gal 2:
16
Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
Gal 3:

2 This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
3 Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?
24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
Rom 3:
28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
Eph 2:

8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Rom 4:
5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
Rom 5:
1
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
Rom 11:
6
And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.

When did I say what you just wrote I said? I'm not interested in debating the law of Moses with you or anyone else. If you want to obey OT law have at it. If you are a Christian you are under the law of Christ and do not rely on obeying Mosaic law for your salvation. PERIOD.
I'm a little tired of you butting in and taking what I say to another out of context and spinning it into you little Mosiac web for arguments sake.
You took the position that we are under the Law of Christ and are not under the Law of Moses, but have given no justification for thinking that they are not in perfect accordance with each other. The fact that Christ affirmed everything that God spoke to Moses means that it is contradictory to for you to take that position. I don't see how I am misrepresent what you said, but I am sorry if I have.

Jesus saves us from our sin (Matthew 1:21) and it is by the Law of Moses that we have knowledge of what sin is (Romans 3:20) so there is no reason for someone who thinks that they aren't under the Law of Moses to think that they need salvation.

But avoid foolish disputes, genealogies, contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and useless.- Titus 3:9
In Titus 3:1-8, Paul encouraged them to do good works, so verse 9 should not be turned against following God's instructions for how to do good works. The fact that we should avoid foolish quarreling about the law does not mean that we should avoid discussing it. The Bible contains genealogies, so there is a correct time and place to discuss them, but we should not quarrel over them.

Christians are not under the law of Moses. We have God's law written on our hearts. That is all we need.
You, on the other hand keep insisting that we must obey the Torah.

Is it different for those in the new Covenant? YES. Did Jesus change things. - YES.
Did he have the authority to do that- ABSOLUTELY

Hebrews 8:6 But now hath Jesus obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also Jesus is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.

Hebrews 7:12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.

If want to be under all 613 laws- by all means- I wish you well with that, but do not call that as needed for Christians.

1 Tim 1---
Just as I urged you upon my departure for Macedonia, to remain on at Ephesus so that you would instruct certain people not to teach strange doctrines, 4nor to pay attention to myths and endless genealogies, which give rise to useless speculation rather than advance [the plan of God, which is by faith, so I urge you now. 5But the goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from a sincere faith. 6Some people have strayed from these things and have turned aside to fruitless discussion, 7wanting to be teachers of the Law, even though they do not understand either what they are saying or the matters about which they make confident assertions.

8But we know that the Law is good, if one uses it lawfully, 9realizing the fact that law is not made for a righteous person but for those who are lawless and rebellious, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and worldly, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, 10for the sexually immoral, homosexuals, slave traders, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound teaching, 11according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, with which I have been entrusted.

I will not be debating this with you any further.
Read Acts 15 sometime.

In your case, id suspect its your connection to the Assembly of God groups that has ruined your faith.....but, you would know exactly which Pentecostal or Charismatic = Church= or Denomination led you into their demonic "you can lose your salvation" theology that you now teach.
Unfortunately, there is not a denomination on earth that holds to what I believe, and the true gospel is so simple. Jesus does it all. We can not take credit for anything, even our "keeping ourselves" is because of the extreme love I have for Jesus as a Husband. Isa. 54:5. (rhema back in the late 70's early 80's. If I were to do my life over, I would have never gotten married.

Believe it or not it is tricky. I went to a very legalistic church for the first 30 years of my life, but still sin had a stranglehold on me, and not one prayer was ever answered. You see, I was having an affair with a married man. Peter says to Repent...and you will have the gift of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit was what I had wanted starting six years before then as I had been raised a cessationist. The common definition of repentance is for US to turn away from the sin. Month after month I tried and failed. The break ups only lasted 3 days top. Month after month I tried and failed. Then one day it hit me. I was just too weak. And true repentance is acknowledging just how weak you are like the publican praying in the synagogue with the prideful Pharisee. My flesh wanted what my flesh wanted, and that was that. Period. So I prayed and told God that I had tried and failed so many times I had come to the conclusion not to try anymore. He was stronger that I was so I was putting the whole affair into His hands, and I was just going to relax and enjoy the affair. I told Him, if you want the affair stopped, then You were going to have to put it on him to break up with me, and then give him the strength to stay out of my life. One week later he came to my apt. and said it finally hit him that he couldn't be here if I needed him, so he was setting me free. That was the first prayer in my entire life that I saw answered. So to answer your question, pray with downright integrity of heart. Tell Him all the nasty details of your failure.

Of course, I was devastated, and to make a long story very short, two weeks later I saw a vision of my sin, and I heard God's voice for the first time. He spoke 8 sentences, and they seared right through me. Basically, I didn't need a man, I just needed Him. And I went from a church goer that wasn't even sure God existed, to being madly in love with Jesus. I even felt a heaviness lift right out of my body. I now know it was the sin from Satan's sin nature that everyone after Adam's sin inherited. I was clean or all desire to commit lawlessness. Those are sins unto death, taking us from death to eternal life. That is 1 John 3:4-9. There is a lesser type of sin called sins not unto death 1 John 5:16-17. Now Jesus as the Finisher of my faith started that night, and for the past 49 years he's been maturing the fruit of the Spirit.

Know this: Grace is NOT unmerited favor. The New Covenant is the ministry of the Spirit. It is supernatural. The Old Covenant wasn't. They had to try to keep the Laws of God with a very active sin nature! Impossible! Paul found that out when it came to the last commandment, coveting. It is the only commandment that is the secrets of your heart, and he knew he failed. Grace is actually the supernatural power of God. First to actually recreate a new clean nature in you, and the old man, the sin nature is dead and buried. Do not believe the lie that we now have two natures. We don't. Our past sins were cleansed, sanctified and justified, 1 Cor. 6:11. That first cleansing is an experience. Your whole life is suprnaturally changed, and don't settle for less, like the error of "Jesus blood covers our sin and we are given Jesus' imputed righteousness, which all the while sinning. And that you will always sin until we die. That's stupid! The body has nothing to do with our sins. It is just like a dead floppy puppet controlled by the puppet masters the spirit/mind and soul/heart which equals our inner nature.

Hi 1cl, welcome to the club,16 year adultery ended 9 years ago and now married 2 years to the girl I cheated on who is Christian & has forgiven me.
John/the 12 all have relevant teachings for their respective audiences/ages of which some can be applied to us today.
To be saved today, I rely on who Christ selected as my Apostle >> Paul.

""Sin unto death ""
What is that sin & what happens to a Eph 4:30 'sealed unto redemption' believer today if they were to do it ?

That would be willfully going against your new nature. Jesus made it easy to continue on the path of righteousness. It would be like Adam going against God on purpose, which is what he did because he knew that Eve had already eaten. Though he didn't know what would happen, he chose his companion over God.

Adam committed a sin unto death as in "the wages of sin is death." His action brought sin and death into the human race. 1 John 5:16-17 shows the two levels of sin. For sins not unto death there was a sacrifice under the Law; but Got did not provide a sacrifice at that time to cover a sin unto death. They were stoned to death. Numbers 15:22-29 shows the sacrifice for unintentional sins. Note that these would be things they were not consciously aware of committing. Leviticus 5:15 shows they are "trespasses" unintentionally committed. Today we would call it "missing the mark." But everyone knew what the Ten Commandments were, and the man who was stoned was merely picking up sticks on the Sabbath. It was a sin unto death against a LAW OF GOD. Same today. Those who commit a sin unto death, which is any willful sin God speaks against, no matter how small it seems is called "lawlessness," 1 John 3:4. The next verse says, "but He was manifested to TAKE AWAY sin, and in Him is not Sin." That is not all sins that miss the mark, only sins unto death - lawlessness, the context of the whole chapter.

And as we see in 1 John 5:16-17 naming the two types of sin that has been known for 3,500 years, when the Reformationists came along 500 years ago, they changed this important distinction and lumped all sin together, "sin is sin," making lawlessness forgivable, covering past, present and future willful sins. But you see that John had said not to even pray for a believer who commits lawlessness, sins unto death. John wasn't talking about praying for an unbeliever who was committing these sins, because then we couldn't pray for our sons and daughters to come to Christ to be free from sin. Lawless sin, that is. Immature fruit of the Spirit is what causes sins not unto death, and it is Jesus that matures us, AS LONG AS WE ABIDE IN HIM. Abiding in Jesus should be what all sermons should be about, because as Peter said in 2 Peter 1:5-9:

"5 But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, 6 to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, 7 to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. 8 For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins.

Note, his "old sins" are the only sins unto death that are cleansed. Not present. Not future. That only applies to unintentional sins while walking in the Spirit. 1 John 1:7, "But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin." That sin is the only sin that someone walking in the Light can commit.

Watch for these doctrines of demons, because since the Reformation lumped both types of sin altogether, the Church has become lukewarm regarding sin:
1. "Sin is sin"
2. 1 John 1:9 is no longer how to become a Christian like Acts 2:38, but a "get out of hell free card you can pull out of the hat after you are a Christian for any type of sin.
3. "Past, present, and future" sin.
4. All sin is willful.
5. There is no such thing as unintentional sin.
6. Once saved, always saved, OSAS (no matter how many commandments you break.)
7. You will always sin until after you die and receive a new body. (As if sin originated in the puppet, and not in the puppet masters (spirit and soul, together making up our nature. What is born again NOW and must be per Jesus is our spirit and soul. The old man of Romans 6 is the sin nature that was crucified and BURIED. It is gone)).
8. Once a Christian you still have a sin nature, so you have 2 natures fighting against each other. (John 15:3 "you are clean.")
9. Jesus frees us from the punishment of sin, not from sin, itself.
10. The blood of Jesus blinds the eyes of the Father so He only sees His Son's blood, not the sin continuously going on underneath.
11. Romans 11:14-25 is Paul as a Christian. NO! It is replaying what it was like for the Jews and Pharisees under the LAW having to keep the law with a sin nature in opposition.
12. 1 John 1:8, and also 6 and 10 are to born again Christians. No, the reason for John writing this epistle is because of the Gnostics spreading their filth in the congregation of John. They are part of the "we" in John's congregation in Ephesus. 1 John 4:1-3. The Nicolaitans started by one of the 7 men in Acts called Nicolas to pass out food evenly. He started his own cult and claimed that only sins of the spirit were sins, but sins of the flesh weren't and were to be encouraged to make grace abound all the more. (Sound familiar? Yes, Paul dealt with them too.) In his cult he ordered all the men to rape each other's wives daily!"
13. The process we go through for the rest of our lives to overcome sin is called "sanctification." It is not for "overcoming lawless sin." And it is not called Sanctification." It is called "Glorification" and is the maturing of all the fruit of the Spirit to be conformed into the image of Christ on earth. In John 17:20-23 Jesus gives us his glory. Jesus already overcame sin, and has given the Holy Spirit of Christ to His true followers. (BTW, not everyone going to church is a Christian, because of bad doctrines of demons who want you dead before you catch on to their evil plot to send you to hell.)

Wow. I swear I don't remember anything of the kind. You are not Gnostic,

Im definitely not a Gnostic.

You're not God

And neither are you.

If you don't think Jesus has the power to change someone,

Jesus changes everyone who comes into contact with Him.
For example.....He turns believing sinners into Saints and Athests into utter fools.

. Romans 1:16-17. Why did Paul write from faith to faith?

Everything with God is based on Covenant, Blood, and Faith.
The Believer is redeemed, justified, and given God's righteousness by/through Faith.
Jesus said, your faith has made you whole, and God said that His will is that you have faith in Jesus whom He sent.
The NT teaches that without faith its impossible to please God, yet, most Christians have lost their faith, and are trying to keep themselves saved, and that does NOT Please God.....it actually offends Him.

Chrisitanity is a belief system that is established by faith, built on faith, and continued by faith.

You gave a warning in your last post. Are you now wondering if Christ will keep them saved?

If a person is born again then they already exist "in Christ".. as "one with God", within the Kingdom of God.
We are born again into God, Christ, and the KOG, and you can't stop being born.
This is our born again Spirit, and nothing can change this because its GOD CAUSED........and this is our Heavenly Identity, and its the only one that God has created that He recognizes.

Christians usually see themselves as not quite good enough or needing to repent.........yet God only sees us as seated next to Him in Heaven, redeemed, eternally forgiven, a Saint, and "in Christ".

When God looks at us, He does not see us in a "body that is dead because of Sin"", @1stCenturyLady .....>He only sees us as "seated in Heavenly places in Christ"... right next to Him.

So, its because Christians, most, do not have GOD's EYES, regarding How GOD sees the born again, .. its because they are looking through their carnal mind, and their feelings, and Moses Law, and their failure to be perfect in their behavior. And all of those deceive you as we can't understand the Bible with our mind, and we can't understand our Salvation, with out mind.
Our mind is not born again, and it has to be transformed by being "RENEWED", and that only happens when we understand how GOD SEES US, as "in Christ", and we then discipline our mind to have the same eyes.
We have to understand, that everything that has to do with God and Salvation, is "BY FAITH", as that is how God created it to be understood.
The bible is spiritually discerned and Christianity is 100% Faith based.

I am constantly teaching broken faith believers to only have faith that Jesus who saved you, keeps you saved.
And the reason that we must have that mind, is because that is God's perspective.
So, when we believe what God believes, then our faith is right., ....and not until.
And until your faith is right, then no amount of bible reading will be of any service to you, because the revelation is cut off when your faith is wrong.

All the apostles that wrote in the New Testament gave many warnings, and as a Teacher,

God does not accept a "teacher" who does not understand that Salvation is Jesus, and HE can't be "lost'.
So, you are fooling yourself, @1stCenturyLady .
And i dont see this changing, as ive been talking to you about your "here is how i keep myself saved" broken faith, for some years now, and you are dedicated to trying to keep yourself saved, vs trusting in Christ alone to keep you saved.

the fact that law is not made for a righteous person but for those who are lawless and rebellious, for the ungodly and sinners,

Thats correct.

Now is there anything more Theologically insane then the people on this forum, who are teaching that what is only made for a sinner, which is moses law and the 10 commandments........they teach that you are supposed to be chasing them, as a part of your Salvation or to TRY to stay saved.

A.) That's Crazy Religion that is pretending to be a "Christian".

Imagine how hyper religious mind bent you have to be, to be trying to chase Moses Law as a part of your Salvation, when it is only created to make you GUITY before God.

Yet many on this forum, and on my Thread, are CHASING what Moses gave, that is only designed to show your GUILTY SIN, before God.
Yet these heretics are telling you, that "its all about the law and commandments"...."they are everything". "You are only saved to noq go back to the OLD COVENANT - OLD TESTAMENT....and chase Moses Law and commandments"..
= These people are heretics on steroids., and its very sad, because they are under Galatians 1:8, and clueless, regarding what it actually means to be born again.

2 Tim 2:26

Paul teaches that you can be deceived by the Devil if you are born again......>Not Possessed, but DECEIVED.

Heb 13:9, tells you that what the Devil does, is, He brings to you a FALSE THEOLOGY, that is most often a false Gospel, and its people who do this to you who are "professing christians".
Paul says they are ministers of the Devil. = 2 Corin 11:15.
'Jesus says they are a dark light.......Luke 11:35
They LIVE on a forum like this one, or inside a "christian commentary", or inside a UTUBE Video.
Reader, Christian, Saint.......the Devil is out to ruin your faith, and He does this by getting you caught up in a wrong faith, regarding ...

1.) How to be saved......and 2.) How to stay saved.

See those 2?
That is wat the Devil is going to use against you, because if He can cause you to have wrong faith, then He has deceived you, and as Paul explaims "you are taken by Him, at His will".

Now, the Devil's will for you, after you are saved.....is to ruin your faith.
See, if your faith is ruined, then God's Grace, and God instuctions, and even the abilty to understand the word of God, or hear from God is GONE........ITS LOST........ITs all hidden from you, because that is what Deception does to you, when your faith is wrong.
Your "spiritual ears" are turned off.

Now, if you've read some bible, then you read...where Paul tells us to "Put on the Helmet of Salvation".

Now what does a Helmet cover?
It covers your BRAIN........it covers your MIND.....so that the Devil cant get in there and lead you astray, and ruin your faith.

Understand.?

Now, many of you have a broken faith, and this was caused , usually, by you feeling guilty about something you've done wrong. And because you didnt understand your Salvation was Eternal, you began to try to stop doing whatever it is, thinking that you had to control it to stay saved... and you had some trouble there........so, you began to try to live right and try harder to STAY SAVED, and all that accomplished was to take you farther away from Real Faith in Christ alone to keep you saved.

Reader, real faith, gives JESUS THE SAVIOR... all the credit due Him alone, for saving you, and keeping you saved.
That's Real Faith in Christ, and anything else is zero faith in Christ.
Broken faith.

See, the DEVIL does not want you to believe that Jesus keeps you saved, becaue if you dont, then you will try to keep yourself saved and that can't be done, and all you will get is more confused and more deceived.
So.... right there, is where you went wrong in the past.
Listen, ... you are not in charge of staying saved..., and because you dont know this , your faith was ruined.

Now what is the "Helmet of Salvation?
Its RIGHT FAITH.
And what happens if you dont have right faith?
You have taken off the Helmet of Salvation, and now your mind is unprotected, and in comes the Devil with someone, and they are going to mislead you into trying to keep yourself saved.
For example on this forum 1stCenturyLady will happily teach you the LIE that you can lose your salvation, and they will have you trying to perform for God, to try to stay saved,
Even worse are those that will tell you to try to be saved again.....
And once all that is your broken faith.....and its wrong faith... then you wont be able to get your Discipleship back on track as God would have it for you.... until you get the revelation that is Right Faith, and that has to become Yours.

What is Right Faith?......Its simply to understand and believe that Jesus who saved you, when you were a sinner, before you ever kept a commandment or were water baptized or tried to "liv right"......is still keeping you saved, forever with His BLOOD Atonement.
How?
By His Shed Blood and Death, that God has accepted on your behalf, for eternity, ONLY because you once gave God your Faith in Christ, and God accepted it FOREVER.
God then eternally washed your sin in the BLOOD of Jesus and gave your spirit the 'new birth".. = born again....and seated you in "heavely places, In Christ".......and you remain there, right now, even with your broken faith.
But down here, your mind is troubled, you are trying to stay saved, and that produces no peace with God, as the fruit of that deception.

So, lets turn it all around and get you back on the right track......that is RIGHT FAITH.

You have to let go of trying to stay saved, and embrace the eternal reality that God who saved you, through Christ's Blood, will be faithtul to complete your Salvation... Philippians 1:6.....and that is not you trying to do it for Him.
That is God's Gift of Salvation, and Gift of Righteousness, and Gift of Eternal Life, completing your salvation.

Now listen, there is no need for you to come to me with your gospel of works and commandment keeping and Moses Law, to try to falsely prove all that you believe you have to do, to try to keep yourself saved.
I already know your faith is broken, and i know who cause it to become ruined. And all im trying to do for you, is get you back on Track, so that your faith is restored so that you BELIEVE in Christ Alone to KEEP YOU SAVED. And once you BELIEVE THIS, vs trying to do that for yourself...then you have put on the Helmet of Salvation , and if you will keep it on, then the Devil can't deceive you again and ruin your faith anymore.

Please list just the verse/s you believe >>>PAUL TEACHES<<< is the sin unto death today :)
1 John 5:16 .... There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.
