romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.


we go back to - Romans 7:22-23
“For I delight in the law of God, in my inner being, but I see in my members another law waging war against the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members.”

another law waring in/of my mind so we have 2 laws law of our mind making us captive . actually we are dealing with 4 laws law of God law of or mind law of sin the most important one is law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus .. granted i am still studying on this so me personally i dont have all the answers but i have a book that does !!! i am a word person in layman's term is there a good word that describes the word LAW .WE HAVE THE 3 ENEMIES SOULS world outer Flesh inner satan our adversary enemy like a roaring lion waking about seeking whom he may devour . personally i dont think any person has full grasp on this. for if they did they could walk in %100 victory everyday. we do know this is spiritual warfare . so i await any biblical thoughts

This is the law that allows us to walk in the higher plane of the Spirit (the realm of the kingdom of God) so that we remain untouched by sin and this world. It is the walk that Jesus perfected in His humanity. It is like the law of flight that overcomes the law of gravity.

So we are to walk in the Spirit in a perfection and holiness that is not our own.

It is the power of a resurrection life that Jesus came to bring to mankind.

Good post, but if we're influenced, (which we are while still in the flesh), is not the burden of resistance is in us? scripture,

The difference today would or should be in any who have really met Jesus and now are following or are striving to follow Him by the power of the Word of God. YES THERE IS A FIGHT WITH IN US sy caps Galatians 5: 17 For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want the on going battle but we can have victory

Jesus started "meddling" long before I was around to do anything... and see what it got Him? Too many people claiming Jesus remind me more of the scribes and Pharisees in Jerusalem about 2000 years ago. Some are innocent in their ignorance while others have settled themselves into a delusion that could cost them dearly. Those scribes and Pharisees also claimed to have all that was needed even as they attacked and conspired against Him. They say they love Jesus while not really even knowing who He is.

Am I self-righteous? Hopefully not as I ask God to be merciful to me in my ignorance.

if God is not giving up on me and he don't lie, so why should I give up on me who do lie?. Greater is he than me, or him in the world. so I surrender to myself in him, which is an easy thing to do, surrender can save lives. we know it's a fight within, but ask yourself, "Why beat up yourself?" remember we're only being influenced, he can't us do nothing, it's us. the devil is setting back watching us beat up our ownselves. as Roman 6:11-12 say "quit", act like we're dead. dead men don't fight. we keep the fight alive by listening to false doctrine. if one just listen to God, "QUIT", or STOP. just stand still in christ, and God, the Holy Spirit will fight our battle for us. so I took off the gloves, thinking I had to fight. it's not my fight, as a matter of fact it's already won. it's easy "I quit fighting with myself over sin". surrender to God and the fight is over.

Romans 6 gives us the answer to the victory in Christ over sin, the only thing to do is believe God.
