She's also dead.
Yes--there's that necromancy angle and necromancy is forbidden by God. It has always been a part of the "black magic" of occultism/paganism. (Think of the Witch of Endor--consulted by King Saul)

We can indeed lose out on the promise of eternal life...not because of disobedience, but because of unbelief. And unbelief results in disobedience and sin. (Unbelief I mean as in trust/faith/dependence.)
Yes--our relationship with God is all about trust/faith/dependence.

no one has ever gone up to heaven
you and your sons will be here with me

what would your priest say about these i wonder.
ps, imo catholic priests can be some of the best insight going, how that comes to be from the RCC though i simply cannot fathom. How bout this pope, huh? Love the guy!
Why do you love him?
Because he contradicts himself all the time?
Or the church, I should say.

how many marys, women, were under the cross, LC. Two? Three? What do you think? Maybe that was just a little mistake engendered by different witnesses, huh?

How is attempting to divine the future via the dead (necromancy) being applied to mary here, again? ty

John 6:47
He WHO BELIEVES has eternal life.

Right. HE WHO BELIEVES......present tense.
IF you STOP believing, you lose your eternal life.

If you stop believing and lose your salvation as a result, then the life you received wasn't eternal...it was only temporary.

And what did Jesus mean here:
John 8:51
51“Truly, truly, I say to you, if anyone keeps My word he will never see death.”

IF anyone KEEPS Jesus' WORD, he shall never see death.

IF is a conditional word. So what happens IF WE DO NOT keep His word?
Shall we see death?

See Ephesians 1:13-14, 2 Corinthians 1:22, 2 Corinthians 5:5.

God gives the seal of the Holy Spirit to those who believe.

Therefore, because of His abiding influence, those who have this seal will not fail to keep His word.

It's a seal of a guarantee to receive something at the end.
And it will be received IF the conditions have been met.

Like when you buy a house.
You receive a seal of guarantee that one day that house will be yours.
IF you make mortgage payments every month.

Anyway, the seal meant baptism.
The seal of baptism.

See JBF, I don't care if YOU believe what you believe.
I know you're a nice and mature Christian and will not leave the side of God and will be saved forever.

But there are new Christians out there that don't really understand things well.
I just hope they all go to a good church so this could be taught to them.

If faith is the instrument used to save us......
then NOT having faith will be what UNSAVES us.

Check out John 3:16
It's always in present tense.
EVERYTHING Jesus says is in present tense.
This should say something to you.

Well, the NO ONE HAS EVER GONE UP TO HEAVEN...
is referring to Jesus.
He came down from heaven.
and He went back up to heaven.

There is no one else like Him.
and YOU AND YOUR SONS WILL BE HERE WITH ME

Who said that? David?
The sons can't come back here....
he had to go to them.....

Theologically speaking...

If I presently have a heart belief that is unto righteousness and perseverance to the end (Romans 10:10, Hebrews 3:6, Hebrews 3:14, Matthew 10:22, Matthew 24:13), then I will always have such a faith. For it produces everlasting life; and the nature of everlasting life is that it will never come to an end (John 6:47).

If the faith that I currently have is mere mental assent (a nominal, lukewarm, or shallow faith), then there is the possibility of falling away (Luke 8:13).

gave you a like even though that is not church to me, and if you have any evidence of himself contradicting himself i'd like to see it, ty
I misspoke bb.
But I fixed it right away,,,
I said that he contradicts the church. (not himself).
For instance...he can't be a judge for homosexuals.
The CC is so against this....that they ARE judged...in a nice and welcoming way, but they still believe it's wrong.

Communion to remarrieds.
He made this acceptable about two years ago.
It goes against everything the church teaches.

ha well imo then it should obv become pertinent to ask oneself how susceptible they might be to the message "you will go up to heaven after you have died?" the other died i mean, not the real one, that no one does

learn the diff in having faith and holding a "belief," wadr, which as i said you have no beliefs anyway, and imo you are lying deliberately now and i can prove it. Pls state a belief that you currently think you have, and lets see yeh?
