1 Timothy 3:15 But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

Acts 7:31-33 When Moses saw it, he wondered at the sight: and as he drew near to behold it, the voice of the Lord came unto him, [32] Saying, I am the God of thy fathers, the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. Then Moses trembled, and durst not behold. [33] Then said the Lord to him, Put off thy shoes from thy feet: for the place where thou standest is holy ground.

good ground = ground of the truth.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

John 8:35-36 And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. [36] If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

John 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground (of the truth)and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

Did you read:

The Parable of the Sower Explained
(Matthew 13:18-23; Luke 8:11-15)

13Then Jesus said to them, “Do you not understand this parable? Then how will you understand any of the parables?

14The farmer sows the word. 15Some are like the seedsb along the path, where the word is sown. As soon as they hear it, Satan comes and takes away the word that was sown in them.

16Some are like the seeds sown on rocky ground. They hear the word and at once receive it with joy. 17But they themselves have no root, and they remain for only a season. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away.

18Others are like the seeds sown among the thorns. They hear the word, 19but the worries of this life, the deceitfulness of wealth, and the desire for other things come in and choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.

20Still others are like the seeds sown on good soil. They hear the word, receive it, and produce a crop—thirtyfold, sixtyfold, or a hundredfold.”

I was like the above for a long time, what about you all?

Love always, Walter

Same here. how wonderful it would be for all of us “to receive the word, and produce a crop.” What a blessing that would be! Thank you for sharing.

Amen, I was trying to understand what was The Lord speaking about in that parable, then it came to my mind years ago. It made me take heed to myself more and more to the scriptures.

What you have quoted is a reminder to all Christians to be PRODUCTIVE.

There are many ways to be productive, but everyone can be a witness for Christ to bring in a harvest of souls, and use the spiritual gifts (as well as the talents, abilities, and opportunities) which have been given to each one to propagate the Gospel and enhance the Kingdom of God. And Christ does not accept any excuses either, as we see from other parables.
