Noah found grace and God then revealed how he might be saved... Obey.
Israel found grace and God directed them out of Egypt and how to be saved at Sinai... Obey.
Any concept of salvation without obedience is a trap. It was disobedience which condemned is in the first place... And we are now saved while still disobeying?

I mock and rail at your attempt to make Noah's building of the Ark the reason he was eternally saved. I gave you the Scripture for my reason to mock and rail. Which you ignore...of course.

And, you make remarks now, but give no Scripture. Why? Are you lazy? Or is it because there is none?

What scripture would you like me to give? I did not say that building the ark was the ONLY reason I believe Noah was eternally saved. I’m saying if he hadn’t he would not have been. I’ve always said Noah was a man of faith and used this example just like Hebrews did.

Hebrews 11:6-7 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
The Bible specifically says that it was this moment that made Noah an “heir of righteousness”, saved by faith. You don’t like that? Well, you don’t think that water has anything to do with salvation either. That’s why this is your flood moment.

Simply put, Noah believed God, as did Abraham, as we do now, in that Jesus now is the only means of His salvation for us!
So yes, Noah was SAVED BY FAITH, and not any form of righteousness of his own making or doing.
John 3:18.

Show me where in the scriptures Adam was exercising faith and therefore saved by grace. I see nothing in the scriptures that show Adam or Eve exercising faith. They both were unfaithful, if Adam had been a man of faith he wouldn't have eaten the forbidden fruit, don't you think. Instead it seems to me that Adam cared more for something else than exercising faith in The True God Jehovah.
How could Adam obey the commandment to cleave to Eve if he didn't share her fate?

The moment he stepped out if the boat into dry ground.

To me what you said is profound and should be considered; if one sees that covering removed from the true Ark of God as the flesh. For a while now have been considering how long does one remain in what is removed before stepping out onto (dry) land to plant...

Genesis 8:11-13 And the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf pluckt off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth. [12] And he stayed yet other seven days; and sent forth the dove; which returned not again unto him any more. [13] And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth: and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry.

Hebrews 10:20-22 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; [21] And having an high priest over the house of God; [22] Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

1 Peter 4:2-3 That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God. [3] For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:

John 6:51-52 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. [52] The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?

after the ark God introduces the eating of meat...

the Bible doesn’t say much about Adam. We don’t know about the entirety of his life. He lived for 930 years and you want to pass judgement on him based on one sin?
They both were unfaithful, if Adam had been a man of faith he wouldn't have eaten the forbidden fruit, don't you think. Instead it seems to me that Adam cared more for something else than exercising faith in The True God Jehovah.
No I don’t think that. Being a man of faith DOES NOT mean you have never sinned. Being a man of faith is someone who demonstrates a life of faithfulness. Do you know Adam was not like that? No!
Whenever anybody sins they are putting self before God. I’ll use your reasoning and conclude that you too are not a man of faith since I know you have sinned at least once.

John 3:18.
He was said to be an “heir of righteousness” AFTER obedience so therefore he was not saved by faith alone. It also says that it was through his faith that he “moved with fear and prepared an ark”. So again, he was not saved by “faith alone”.

Noah was eternally saved long before he began building the boat. (Gen. 6:8,7:1)

Stranger

Job was also called righteous of God. Having his own righteousness or the righteousness of God? Job 32:1-2 So these three men ceased to answer Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes. [2] Then was kindled the wrath of Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the kindred of Ram: against Job was his wrath kindled, because he justified himself rather than God.

“Noah was saved long before he began building the boat.” But Noah didn’t build the boat...God built the Ark which eternally saves. Even Peter was not converted before the Ark of God was complete: Luke 22:31-32 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: [32] But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

Matthew 18:3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

yes enter into His rest and cease from your own work ...to serve the Living God. But also
1 Timothy 2:14-15 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. [15] Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety. “Faith, charity, holiness with sobriety” -all fruit of the Spirit therefore the “covering” has to be removed (a new birth)to walk in newness of Life.

Romans 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

1 Peter 1:10-12 Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: [11] Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow. [12] Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.

The covering of the Ark has to be removed and the Son of God revealed. When did (does)this happen?

It sounds to me you're trying to say that Adam was supposed to love Eve more than God and be disobedient because she was disobedient and that isn't true.
Adam would have been disobedient either way he went. Can Adam say he loved God if he don't love Eve?

1 John 4:20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

This statement could also be seen as prophetic:

Genesis 2:23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

I also ask if Adam could obeyed the commandment to be fruitful and multiply?

Considering the fact that the entire human race was at stake, wouldn't it have been selfish for Adam to try to save his own life? Can you see how Adam was somewhat like Jesus a little?

One that supported what you said. I said God never told the world to build a boat. You said no, but He told them to believe and be baptized. What Scripture do you use to support that.

Noah was saved for the same reason any one else is saved. By faith. He was already saved before he built the boat. (Gen. 6:8,7:1)

(Heb. 11) speaks to the believers walk of faith and the products of his faith. These things witnessed to the faith they already had. Noah became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. That is not the moment of his salvation. His act condemned the world and he obtained the blessings that the righteousness which is by faith brings. The most immediate of which, was surviving the flood. (Gen. 6:8,7:1)

Look at Abraham in (Heb. 11). His leaving his home to go to another land by faith is spoken of. (11:8-10) His offering up of Isaac is spoken of. (11:17-19) Neither of these acts of faith are the time when God imputed righteousness to him. See (Gen. 15:6)

I hold to the importance of water baptism for your walk of salvation. But it is not necessary to be born-again.

So, was Noah saved when he started building the boat, or when he finished building the boat?

Stranger
Neither....according to Peter 3:20. It says that Noah and seven other people (eight in all) were saved through water. But it all started with faith in God.

The moment he stepped out if the boat into dry ground.
Wouldn't the moment be the first step be onto the boat? If he never stepped onto the boat from dry ground he never would have 'stepped out of the boat onto dry ground'.

Basically it seems you're saying that if your wife or husband sins you should sin as well and that's not how that works. Adam had a choice to be faithful to God and not eat the forbidden fruit and he would not have been disobedient to God in any way. You saying that Adam would be disobedient either way he went isn't true. God doesn't except second place when it comes to love. The scriptures are explicit on this. If you love husband or wife or mother or father or brother or sister or even your own children more than Jehovah God then you don't havet faith in the True God Jehovah because if you love your family and friends more than the True God Jehovah then your faith won't be with the True God Jehovah it will be based on the creation rather than the creator.

Also God created Adam perfectly meaning Adam was created without sin in his flesh he was without spot or blemish when created, but Adam and Eve didn't remain in that state. When they sinned they became spotted and blemished. That's why God sent his Son in likeness of Adam. Jesus was 100 % perfect human without spot or blemish,
no sin was in his flesh but unlike the first Adam Jesus remained without spot or blemish, he was without sin, Jesus proved that a 100% perfect man can withstand the temptations of Satan and remain without sin. Did Jesus have God's help of course but the first Adam could've done the same but he didn't

The problem with that is that Noah found Grace in the eyes of God before he was even given the command to build the ark.

Every once in a while the Bible has thoughts thown in that aren't in chronological order. The book of John at times is like this, especially in the first half of chapter 1. But I don't think this is the case here.

Reviewing Genesis 6 and Hebrews 11, it appears to me that he found Grace in a wicked generation and was found perfect in that generation. He then had faith to build the ark. He already had faith and thus, received Grace and the commission.
Noah found grace in the eyes of God because Noah " was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God." Genesis 6:9.
"Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he." Genesis 6:22

Noah found grace in the eyes of God because he was obedient and his obedience in building the ark was the reason his house was saved by grace. Noah did not find grace for some capricious, unconditional, unknown reason.

People today also need to find grace in the eyes of the Lord, not because the world will flood again, but one day Christ will return and the world will end and all in it will melt in fire, 2 Peter 3:10-13.

--As Noah was just in the eyes of God by his obedience, we must be just in God's eyes also and we do that by being obedient...Romans 6:17-18 "obeyed from the heart....then freed from sin/justified".

--As Noah was perfect in his generation, we must be perfect also by obediently submitting to baptism where we then put on Christ (Gal 3:27) clothed in His perfect righteousness and have all are sins continuously cleansed away (1 John 1:7).

--As Noah walked with God, we must walk with God, Ephesians 5:2; Ephesians 5:8-9.

--As Noah obeyed all commanded him, so must we today obey all commanded us, Matthew 28:20.

When was it complete, when they exited the boat?
They were saved from the flood when the ark floated above the water..."while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water." The anti-type (mirror reflection) to that OT type is us also being saved by water:

OT type: saved by water (flood)
NT antitype: saved by water (baptism)

The salvation of his house would never had happened though had he not first obeyed God in building the ark.

So Noah wasn't saved till after he built the boat?

Stranger
1 Peter 3:20 "saved by water". So his salvation required he first build the boat, board the boat as God commanded then he was saved by water. Noah was obedient man to God during his life, not perfectly obedient, but obedient to all GOd's commands. Building the ark was part of that life long obedience by which he would be eternally saved. Building the ark was not the only obedience Noah did in his life. Again, Noah lived a life in obedience to God..."Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God."
