I have read multiple comments from individuals that the Bible is complete and therefore we cannot add anything to it. This is true, I agree that we cannot add any new teaching to it. But it did not say that we were to be readers only of it....we are suppose to be doers of it.
So IMHO....we are to do all that Jesus did, the Apostles, the Prophets and to be disciples of it....and to go out into the world training up more disciples. This includes miracles, healings, casting out demons, prophesies, preaching and teaching and even raising up the dead.
When Jesus said to the disciples in John 16:12 12“I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. 13“But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. 14“He will glorify Me, for He will take of Mine and will disclose it to you. 15“All things that the Father has are Mine; therefore I said that He takes of Mine and will disclose it to you.
Why couldn't they bear them at the time....they already knew He was going to be crucified....that He would die and be resurrected....so what was Jesus referring to?
And what about the mysteries of God.....they are revealed to us by the Holy Spirit....and did not Paul say we see in part and know in part but in time we will know all?
