...Are you being serious right now? So are you now claiming that you DON'T already have the perfect, sinless righteousness of God?

There is a difference between being sinless and perfect. As long as I forgive others their trespasses against me and do not hold anything against anyone, the Father forgives me of my trespasses that I don't even know about. So sinless, yes. Perfect, no; otherwise I wouldn't commit any unintentional sins to begin with.

So since you are sinless, that means you can stand in Gods presence and live to tell about it. So have you seen Gods face with your own two eyes? Can you see Gods face, his form in its full heavenly glory right now with your own two eyes like Jesus is standing before God right now?

Only if He let me. Do you know of a way to get there that I don't know about?

Doesn't matter, he comes to you, on earth, right now, as he stood before Moses on Mount Sinai, except in your case, you don't need any kind of veil to protect yourself. So I'll ask again, have you seen his face?

No, only His voice. Have you heard His voice?

No, I haven't seen His face. I thought I already said that...

Can you hear His voice? That is an easier question.

So in other words, you are not the holier than thou, sinless little princess you are claiming to be. I rest my case, its getting late for me.

So are your past, present and future sins already forgiven, or just your past sins, as scripture actually says.
Provided that I remain in the faith, all my sins are forgiven.
All the request requires humility and faith in God's supernatural gifts. Sorry CL, I'm not seeing the humility, faith and wisdom in your self-exalting comments.

Thank you. Apparently you are a denominationalist.
No, I'm adamantly non-denominational, ...I said what I said, because your views seem very isolated.
Although your rebuttal is valid, at least to assume that i was a denominationalist, it doesn't apply in this case.

'Likewise reckon ye also yourselves
.. to be dead indeed unto sin,
.... but alive unto God
...... through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body,
.. that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
.... Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin:
but yield yourselves unto God,
.. as those that are alive from the dead,
.... and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
For sin shall not have dominion over you:
.. for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

(Romans 6:11-14)

Hello CharismaticLady,

The whole of Romans 6 needs to be read, for it deals with the reckoning of faith, We are told to reckon ourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God. It is a reckoning of faith. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

don't mean to get into your conversation but you hit it on the head twice here.
for "reckon" is synonyms with "consider", which one act upon. and those actions is you Faith or guarantee in the actions one takes.

as your example in scripture, Romans 6:11 "Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord." by "considering" or acting/actions, oneself to be dead then they are free from sin, for dead men don't sin. so it's an "act" of Faith to recon or to "consider" onself to be dead indeed to sin, yet alive to God, unto good works.

here in Roman 6, God give us the answer as to how to overcome sin in our lives. as like CHRIST died unto sin once, likewise we, (when Baptized in to "HIS" death, by water baptism), die to sin once. so it's by FAITH, the evidence in consideration that gives us the victory over sin.

bottom line "ACT" like you're DEAD.

Do you not see the Romans 8:2 is the conclusion of Romans 7-8-23, and that we are free from that struggle? I don't know why you are against sinless perfection when it is Jesus who gave us the power through His Own Spirit.

Amen!!
I used to struggle as a young christian with Ch 7 but all things became clear when I learned that there was no gap in the original between Chap 7 and 8.
7. Paul while under the law, and 8 Paul in the newness of Christ life in him.
