legal types need ministers of justice, see; you don't. you are called to obey them and pray for them, period. You are not called to trust them, or believe in them, or believe them, or follow them, or even validate them, none of those things

No idea where you got the word "ministers of justice" from. The entire context of Romans 13 began from the start of chapter 12. Paul is speaking to the churches in Rome about how they are to conduct themselves within the church, and how those appointed by God as his ministers within the church as authority figures are to conduct themselves. He is NOT at all speaking about pledging blind obedience to the state.

Currently working up the nerve, the audacity to accept Donald Trump as a minister of God. Lord help me.

Who said anything about disregarding the law? Does not believing and treating the "ordinance of man" as ministers of God by default make me a law breaker? Peter said you are to submit yourself to governments that "do well", not "do evil". Submission to government doesn't supersede the well being of you and your family, or in the case of some places like North Korea, your FAITH.

hmm, how do you submit self to a gov after you have left the world? i'm guessing some alt interp is expected; a gov that does not do evil? Obey and pray imo. period.
        "Submission"
