The one thing anyone can be sure of is God. If a person is able to get on His side and remain there until the end of his course, there is nothing to be scared of, is there?According to @amadeus we can't be sure of anything. That must be a scary place to be.
Is that really what I am doing and what I believe? Your vision really seems to be coming up short. He wants you to be carried about by every wind of doctrine like he is. For the record he believes Mormonism is biblical Christianity. You? Not so much. ;)
Yes, that is really what you're doing and what you believe. Just an observation. Is that really what I am doing and what I believe? Your vision really seems to be coming up short.

I would expect you to sit back and bow out and learn the Scriptures. In that, you do disappoint. How dare I question you? Would you really rather that I bow meekly before you and take up your pathway because you say to do so?
You certainly do not sit back and bite your tongue. I do not expect that from you and you do not disappoint.
If you are on his side you are there permanently. The one thing anyone can be sure of is God. If a person is able to get on His side and remain there until the end of his course, there is nothing to be scared of, is there?
"If a person is able to get on his side?" Wow.If a person is able to get on His side and remain there until the end of his course, there is nothing to be scared of, is there?
Learn the scriptures? What you mean is that I should learn them as you have learned them. It is that from which I must bow out. Have a nice day!I would expect you to sit back and bow out and learn the Scriptures. In that, you do disappoint.
That is where a person should always want to be. Jesus came to make it a possibility, but most people do not love Him enough to strive for that even though all the means have been provided. If you are on his side you are there permanently.
Give God all of the glory!"If a person is able to get on his side?" Wow.
Answer? No person is able to "get on his side." Your statement is simply unbiblical, humanistic ideology.
Note John 6:63; John 6:44. In fact Paul reiterated this fact of incapability/inability in Romans 8 as well, so the misusage and misapplication of John 12:23 is thereby refuted. No one is able. Salvation, faith, regeneration, repentance are all gifts of God. Note Ephesians 1:19 -- belief is not inherent ability to "exercise" inherent faith because no man has supernatural faith abiding in him.
Now we wait for the "Nuh-uh!!" argument and fighting for man and his ability in the face of God, and against giving God all his due glory. There is a total aversion around here to giving him all glory. That is a fact.
Sounds like a works-based salvation to me....That is where a person should always want to be. Jesus came to make it a possibility, but most people do not love Him enough to strive for that even though all the means have been provided.
No, it means you should learn what they actually say.Learn the scriptures? What you mean is that I should learn them as you have learned them. It is that from which I must bow out. Have a nice day!
I do, yet your teaching doesn't, which is why I offered a biblical rebuttal and gospel.Give God all of the glory!
Well you have already decided where you are. If you right, OK then! If you're wrong it could be a costly mistake!Sounds like a works-based salvation to me....
If you are right you have nothing to lose nor does anyone else! If you are wrong, when is it too late to make a change?I do, yet your teaching doesn't, which is why I offered a biblical rebuttal and gospel.
