Hello there,
What is the difference between 'the day of God' and 'the day of the Lord'?
'Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God,
wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved,
and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
Nevertheless we, according to His promise,
look for new heavens and a new earth,
wherein dwelleth righteousness.'
(2 Peter 3:12)
* Revelation 20:11-15 to Revelation 22:8
'I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day,
and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,'
(Rev 1:10)
'For yourselves know perfectly
that the day of the Lord so cometh
as a thief in the night.'
(1 Thessalonians 5:2)
* Isaiah 13:6,9; Ezekiel 13:5; Joel 1:15; 2:1,11; Amos 5:18, 20; Obadiah 1:15:16; Zephaniah 1:7,14; Malachi 4:5.
*Does not 'the day of God' follow 'the day of the Lord', and result in righteousness and peace?
Thank you
In Christ Jesus
