I was praying to my Father and having a wonderful fellowship, the anointing was very strong and I began feel like I was going to sleep, my body went limp, my head began to bob, I couldn't make myself snap out of it...and I found myself sitting on the floor with my head resting on my alter...I think He may have caused me to doze off or something...anyhow, during that time I could here Him talking to me and He said My army is in formation awaiting my command....and then He said look up...I looked up and there were thousands of white horses with Angels mounted on them and each of them stood on a cloud but the cloud looked like one large cloud and it was dark on the bottom and white on top...like you see when the clouds start gathering together before a storm or rain...all of them had on armor....their helmets were like the kind in the Roman days and they were a shiny gold...their swords were HUGE...and they held them in their left hand with the point of the sword pointing up...I remember being in awe of how powerful they looked...and each one had the strength of ten men (strong men)...the horses were very muscular as well.
I asked Him what command are they waiting on....and He said it cannot be spoken yet...just know that I am fighting the battle...it belongs to me...don't fear what you hear or see....at this point the spirit of antichrist has positioned himself to reveal who he is and he has loosed his most evil of demons upon the earth....
And then I woke up....but I was sooooooo weak...I couldn't hardly lift myself to stand up.

The Army can not be loosed until all that are truly His, are sealed. Then it becomes like the Passover of old. "Fear not, little children, for it will not come near your tent."

"No lame or blind man or halt man, or one with a permanent blemish in his flesh, or a man afflicted with the uncleanness of his flesh, none of these shall go with them to battle; they shall all be volunteers for war, blameless in spirit and flesh, and ready for the day of vengeance. And no man who is not clean from his issue on the day of battle shall go down with them; for holy angels are together with their armies."

Thats awesome, very awesome. I have heard of similar visions from visionaries/prophets(on here) with the horses on the clouds with warriors. It makes you want to fight for God. Praise God.

With the helmets of Salvation, the sword of the Spirit held High, the breastplate of righteousness, having feet shod with the gospel of peace?

Excellant questions and the way I see it is our armor is all about being equipped to do spiritual battle and it all boils down to faith and trust that His Word is Powerful and will accomplish what it says it will do, (sword)...but if we leave our sword in its sheath and never use it against the enemy (as Jesus did in the wilderness telling Satan "it is written...") then we set ourselves up for failure....
Our shield of faith has to be present always to quench the arrows Satan shoots at us...
If course we can't use either without salvation...(helmet) righteousness in Christ (breastplate which protects our most vital organs...metaphorically)
And truth....loin cloth which covers us
And finally, our shoes...preparation of the gospel....wherever we go we must be prepared to answer what is our hope based on.

A few thoughts on the return of the Lord ...that you may glorify the Lord in that day. 1 Peter 2:11-14 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; [12] Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation. [13] Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; [14] Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.
