The sad thing is that Australians will buy the cheapest things they can in as a means of saving cash but the reality has become that they have lost their jobs in doing so.

When Thesis was negotiating to export coal to Japan at the start of the Coal trade with them, Japan also wanted to balance the trade imbalance by exporting their good to Australia in exchange for buying the coal and Thesis told them that the Australian public would buy anything that was relatively cheap. So Japan started to export cars to Australia in exchange. The Japanese were concerned with the backlash from the WW2 and Thesis suggested to them to put the manufactures name on the back of their utes in large letters and so Toyota vehicles began their successful importation of their vehicles into Australia to become one of the popular car brands today. Australia and new Zealand have/had been very innovative in the design and application of new products and technologies but the head hunters from the rest of the world have stolen the brightest young people to work for them instead of them helping to build Australian manufacturing capabilities.

Businesses in Australia, in the most part, import what the want from over seas, who usually operate on a footpath warranty basis, because it is "cheaper" to do so at the cost of manufactures in Australia. At this present time, because of the fall off of other countries to be able to supply their "cheap" goods, Australian business have had to resort to Australian manufacturers for the goods that they want to keep their cash flows to survive.

There is a verse in the OT which tells us not to expand our farms by buying out those around us because this is not good for the land or the people. This is also true in the other activities of mankind that supplies the good that we need to be able to live today.

Has anyone considered that this world pandemic "crisis" may be God's way of attempting to reset the values of the people and how they live and interact with each other because of the opportunistic power hungry people wanting to rise to the top of the power trees in our societies without due regard for the welfare of the people they are dubbing.

Reggie, I never mentioned anything about Jews, Roman Catholics or Islamic people. I only spoke about the Australian people and their self centeredness. The Holocaust is mentioned in Daniel 11 for those who are interested in finding it, but that discussion is for another thread.

Here based on the latest data is an update on the charts that i have previously posted: -





Since the 1st of July, when the second wave of the pandemic sort of kicked into gear, there has been a total of some 17,000 people infected with covid-19 which is about twice the number of people that were infected during the first wave of the virus. From the above two charts, the indication is that there will be at least another three to four weeks before the tally level of people becoming infected on a daily basis over a 14 day period will be below 150 people down from around 3,500 people being effected at the moment over the last 14 day period. The second wave of infections has unfortunately been predominately confined to the State of Victoria and then mainly in the Greater Melbourne city area.

Perhaps the message of social distancing, the washing of hands and the wearing of masks is finally getting through to people resulting in the rapid decline in the moving 14 day reported totals as depicted in the above graphs.

Unlike you, I am happy to consider all viewpoints. That way I come to a reasoned position on anything that I am researching. If we only listen to those who agree with us we will go down with the sinking ship.

He has delivered the most strictest lockdown restrictions. And he has lied about it all to the public.

The weirdest thing is that people will support another 12 months of tyranny when 6 months ago they didn't. People will support another 12 months of being kept from going to church when they didn't 6 months ago. People will accept the working class being sacrificed when 6 months ago they didn't...

Peoples most valued beliefs about worship, democracy and human rights were thrown out the window in the first couple of months... The question is was Dan Andrews responsible for the lack of governance of the people in the state of Victoria. It seems that some are demanding that poor old Dan do as they demand but if he concedes to that demand who will be responsible if it does not work.

The Chart that I posted above is demonstrating the fact that when people comply with the measures to curtail the spread of the virus, that it does indeed work.

What we are seeing in this and other threads on this forum is the selfish attitudes of the members focused on their own desires irrespective of the impact that will have on the broader community. When the daily reported cases of the virus got to over 700 per day, people began to realise that what they were doing was actually increasing their risk of catching the virus. Democracy requires the politicians to speak out the truth but their fear of being removed from the feed trough for speaking the truth about their constituents attitudes means that they will not place the blame where it belongs and so they blame the easiest target for the problems he is attempting to address without the oppositions support. At the moment the opposition leader is point scoring without a viable alternate plan to achieve the same outcome.

Perhaps if people used their laughing matter more to understand the facts of the situation, then better outcomes would occur.

Two things. I said unlike you because all I have to judge you by are your words which is the same for other people and me.
