But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. - Galatians 6:14.
What is my mission in life? What is the thing I was put here on this earth to do, to accomplish, what is it? It is to go back into the world with whom you are crucified and minister Christ. Is that simple enough, whatever you feel led to do and however you feel led to do it you go back into the world with no preconceived ideas and preach Christ crucified (be yourself in Christ). Now that has a lot of implictions to it because you are not here to straighten out the world, you are a ambassador. You have been crucified to the world. A ambassador only speaks for their government, they have no opinion of their own. They have the mind of their government and when they speak it is as if their government was speaking. Another place they are called 'oracles' or a mouthpiece for God. I'm not talking about the five fold ministry, that is for preparing the saints, I'm talking about the saints, Christian's living and doing in the world.
When I'm around a heavy politic-er and they are trying to let loose I'm thinking "that is a lot of wasted time and energy on something your dead to. We have concerns living in the world and should have because we are to make an impact on the world but the world and the world system is not our objective, the people in the world are to be reached. You cannot change the world nor should you try, if you have a hard time watching the news from around the world then take a break let your mind rest. There is unrest everywhere and Christian's can het just as worked up as the world. We can relax and get back to the basics of reaching out to the world, not trying to change it by chiming in with the world.
There are interesting things all around the world going on at any given moment, but it just proves that what Paul said about it "it don't matter." When you are crucified to the world and the world to you, it does not matter what goes on. There is only one thing should matter in this world "Christ in you the hope of glory."
