Great. Now you're thinking. So, under which administration do you believe that the church would be better off?
No, not always. I think most who vote for Trump really do want a better America for others as well as themselves. I simply don't think that politics, or any particular party, will be the answer they hope for.Would political here mean self?
I wouldn't. My suggestion in the OP was purely tongue in cheek. My point is that voting for Trump will not strengthen the church. In fact it will weaken it. That's the point I'm making. What would your reason be for voting for Biden?
It’s why I’m having such a hard time deciding if to even vote, it simply only means aligning with one or the other. No, not always. The answer for America isn't in politics at all. It's found in Chronicles. If My people will humble themselves and pray, seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive them off their sin, and heal their land.
Nothing in there about voting for anyone or relying on the state to implement religious policy.
Heck, maybe we could even get the whole gas can thingy repealed? Two options. Now consider these carefully.
1. Trump stays President. The church rejoices because they have a friend in the White House. They have the ears of the boss and they expect that good things will happen as a result. Abortion curtailed. Political correctness stymied. Law and order prevails. Goodness, maybe even some corrupt politicians will go to jail. But the church itself, God's people, will relax. They have government protection. The Supreme Court is on their side. They pray less. The study the word less. The gospel is preached with less urgency, the church is in union with the state and enjoying a happy relationship. The state may, all going well, even implement and legislate church doctrine in order to make the nation righteous. And punish those who are godless and lawless.
Some sections of the church refuse to partake in this political/religio farce and declare themselves independent and go out alone. The established church persecute their former brothers and sisters while they unbelieving world joins they union out of selfishness. So the church ends up being allied with their former enemies and fight against their former church members. Fanciful? Not when you read Revelation 13.
God's true faithful people go into the wilderness and proclaim the gospel throughout the land and gain in spiritual power and strength.
2. Biden wins. He resigns shortly after signing on on mental grounds and Kamala takes over. Nancy Pelosi has the run of the government and the church gets maligned, abused, persecuted, church buildings are closed, gay rights promoted more throughout the nation, abortions increase and crime escalates. Maybe there's even a third world war with Hillary taking over the military.
The church goes into the wilderness. She prays. She draws closer to her Savior. She gains in spiritual power and she boldly proclaims the gospel throughout the land.
So. Under which of the above scenarios is the church, and ultimately the nation, better off?

Well , we cant do evil so that good may come out of it . In other words there is no way i am voting bidenGreat. Now you're thinking. So, under which administration do you believe that the church would be better off?
Prophecy depicts a war. A war between Satan and the final remnant of God's people after the union of church and state and that union becoming a global enterprise. The liberals aren't the problem. The union of church and state is the real enemy... It is that union which legislates religious laws. And defines dissidents as "extremists". In the end they are sentenced to death if found.. Since voting for Trump is like returning to the state some years ago, which isn't that long ago. And everyone was doing just fine before the liberals took over the laws. It's really not unknown what the effect of Trump winning will be. So long as he doesn't start a war.
Sure, that's a little extreme, but it isn't original. I've read of that scenario and all off those suggestions often lately. They come from right wing commentators. So they are paranoid? They're a lot closer to the action than me, and understand American politics and it's many and varied personalities a lot more intimately than me.You seem a little paranoid if Biden wins here.
Yet you're voting for Trump that good may come of it knowing the clear and present danger of affiliating the church with the state,?Well , we cant do evil so that good may come out of it . In other words there is no way i am voting biden

Maybe your right about church and state, maybe not. It all depends, religious wars are a real thing, that's for sure. But I'm not really going there yet.Prophecy depicts a war. Sorry, but you'll have to fill me in on that one.Heck, maybe we could even get the whole gas can thingy repealed?
When I look at the coterie of evangelical leaders, many of which a frauds and vagabonds, I see that union forming now. Couple that with the recent Protestant denial of the reformation and an appeal to return to Rome and you have what is portrayed here...Maybe your right about church and state, maybe not. It all depends, religious wars are a real thing, that's for sure. But I'm not really going there yet.
Yes, I live in Canada, but have also lived and worked in the States for many years, and have immediate family members living there. I may even move back down there in the future (if Trump wins). I hope he does, but with the blatant voter fraud all over the States, who knows what will happen?how is it you think I can stop the democrats from every outrageous thing again?

So how can you stop the outrageous Democrats? Vote for Trump and the CONSERVATIVE Republicans for starters. Forget about the RINOs (who should be honest enough to call themselves Democrats).
