No, not always. I think most who vote for Trump really do want a better America for others as well as themselves. I simply don't think that politics, or any particular party, will be the answer they hope for.
The answer for America isn't in politics at all. It's found in Chronicles. If My people will humble themselves and pray, seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive them off their sin, and heal their land.

I wouldn't. My suggestion in the OP was purely tongue in cheek. My point is that voting for Trump will not strengthen the church. In fact it will weaken it. That's the point I'm making.

1. Since voting for Trump is like returning to the state some years ago, which isn't that long ago. And everyone was doing just fine before the liberals took over the laws. It's really not unknown what the effect of Trump winning will be. So long as he doesn't start a war.

When I look at the coterie of evangelical leaders, many of which a frauds and vagabonds, I see that union forming now. Couple that with the recent Protestant denial of the reformation and an appeal to return to Rome and you have what is portrayed here...
