I figure this is going to get cantankerous and I will tell every body the Dems can go suck an egg as for me and my Family we will celebrate Thanksgiving with Family and go to Church! Go ahead fight amongst yourselves

I will be having sliced turkey breast with stove top stuffing. Not sure if I will make real or instant mashed potatoes, canned yams, boil up some onions, peas, cranberry sauce, prepared turkey gravy. Oatmeal cookies and a glass of milk.

I think where I live everyone is supposed to eat turkey in separate parts of the yard, with each person wearing a mask throughout.

The missus and I will be cooking for a family of four including the two boys...the boys asked if I would do it again this year.
And I'm a firm believer that:
Friends don't let friends eat Cracker Barrel for Thanksgiving.
So...it will be a lot of work and fun.

Just got a text saying that my friend's wife has pneumonia...they just left the hospital and are home... she is going to get tested tomorrow.
But it basically means that Thanksgiving is cancelled this year.
How's everything going since it's like a week later. Also I find it absolutely absurd that some places are trying to control how many people you're having over for Thanksgiving,.. it's only going to be me and my parents this year but still,.. whether we want to have three people (plus a cat if you're counting Jessie. ;) ) or three hundred it shouldn't be any of our neighbors or the government's dang business!!

I'm not going near them until they are quarantined for a while after the last symptoms are gone. Regardless of what the government says.
That's just prudence.
I'm still going to bring them Thanksgiving dinner.

Yeah but still, that shouldn't take the government getting involved, that should just take common sense.
Exactly, no government should tell us what to do. The only thing the government should do is protect us from foreign enemies, period.
Now as far as Thanksgiving we are having all the trimmings. We would go to the family thanksgiving but I can't get in a car. We are going to the Family Christmas hopefully we are getting a ramp van
hopefully it works, it was made for a manual wheelchair and I have a scooter

Much of my family lives far away and my brothers are in Wisconsin (Kenosha), but I'm not traveling to see them this Thanksgiving. I usually spend Thanksgiving with friends in the Chicago area, but they all got covid from hanging out together too much (it was bound to happen). So, I'm spending Thanksgiving alone this year. Please, do not feel sorry for me. I'm an introvert; so, I love being alone. The problem is: I'm not much of a cook (even though I cook every evening). I bought a precooked turkey leg (it was all they had left at the grocers), some tasty cranberry mix, and I'll make my own mashed potatoes. I love stuffing, but shied away from trying to make it myself. I still may go and buy some instant stuffing and cut up some onions and carrots to add to it.

We're not the first generation that is living under persecution for our faith.
Because in all reality I believe that's what they are trying to do. Break us.
Today we have telephones, zoom, instagram, facebook, twitter.. all ways to stay in touch.
They may be able to keep us seperated in the physical sense, but they can't have your spirit
unless you give it to them.
And they're not getting mine. The Lord already baught and paid for it.
I can't visit my family. My daughter and mother-in-law are too far away.
My dad and his other half are doing their thing with her family.
So I'm gonna reach out and touch them all through my landline telephone because I don't have a cellphone or a camera on my computer.
And I'm going to stuff my face and be thankful for all my blessings, and probably spend most my day right here.
And I will be blessed.
