Probably because taking on millions of Muslims knowing a so called small percentage commit acts of terror in protest of ideologies or activism that assails their faith, isn't a wise move. Plastic explosives tend to make people think twice about ticking off the people that employ that in protest.

You make a good point. These days, Christians in America tend to be more tolerant than Muslims. These activists may find themselves dealing with Sharia law in some areas if they're not careful.
