Thank you for responding. I saw a video of a Priest giving a sermon where he was telling the congregation about what they could expect and at one point he yelled "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!" It was a very powerful sermon now of course I can't find it :)
I think I found that video. :)

I am mad, I am betrayed by many, I hurt, I am depressed. I and many others prayed and you know what we got bupkis, that's what we got. I am sick and freak-in tried of people giving verse after verse after verse as if that will help anything. I am sick of people quoting verse about the end times. I am SICK OF IT ALL!

We pray and pray, nothing happens in most cases. I have prayed consistently to get healed, bupkis again. I prayed for a wheelchair van for four frakin years, my Church prayed but still it took four years. I prayed so my parents wouldn't die yet they did six hours apart. Every time I took it to prayer and I just prayed in thanksgiving many times. So now we put all our trust in God, prayed to Him and nothing. Millions of people prayed for the right thing to be done and nothing.

Don't tell me prayer works anymore. To be a Christian is to court massive disappointment
So sorry for your grief. Maybe you should blame your church for your beliefs, not God.

HB, God gave you feelings and passions. Honor what you're feeling! Don't quash it or feel ashamed!
I've found God knows I'm human. ;) When I get really upset about something I think is outside my control, I vent! I think God leads us to feel even as you do now so that when it is time we'll maybe see the bigger picture.

I remember this line from Lethal Weapon. Roger was speaking aloud and complaining about having Riggs as his partner. God hates me that's what it is.
To which Riggs replies, Hate him back! Works for me!
What viewers didn't know at that point in the movie nor until a later sequel, Riggs wife had run off the road on a rainy night and drowned. He was suppose to be driving the car but was caught up at work, or it would have been he that died.

Look, God is Sovereign. He's not even a he, God is spirit. And knows everything and is everywhere at the same time. (Omniscient, Omnipresent).
There's nothing you can feel nor that reason behind those feelings, that God doesn't understand.

You're not the only Christian having a crisis of faith right now.
(HUGS) You're not alone. We're all screwed.
Amen to that one. .That story about having just enough oil, hope your all topped up.

God bless

All that is happening now is God is taking away all those things we relied upon, soon it will be only Him, jobs, family, financial security its all going, the new world order has planned its course, and God will use that to bring His people to Himself. We all have our moments of doubt, I just go tell God, even when I mad at Him ,HE knows every issue I have and He weeps when we weep, He does not love seeing His children suffer, but as I keep reminding a friend of mine, all I see is that in the end the Glory will be or the greater for Jesus and Him, for He knows the works He has planned for us, so we hold on till that time, than all this suffering will no longer matter.

God bless

You have to pray according to God's will, that things will work out as He wants even if you are disappointed.

Matthew 6:9-10
‘This, then, is how you should pray:
‘“Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.

Proverbs 19:21
Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.

All the time He wants to give you so much more than you are asking for ... mebbe

I always think that before we pray for what is on our hearts we should ask what is on His heart. Perhaps it will be the same thing or maybe not as scripture tells us:

Isaiah 55:7-9
‘For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,’ declares the Lord. ‘As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Jesus is the perfect revelation of God, there will never be a better one, He IS God's will. All of God's blessings are wrapt up in Him.

We see in the gospels how when folks apprehended who He is and started treating Him accordingly He answered their prayers...

Of course He is, but I was talking about how we should pray according to God's will and not our own.

Question: "Does God answer prayers?" (Gotquestions.org.)

Answer:
The short answer to this question is, “Yes!” God has promised that, when we ask for things that are in accordance with His will for our lives, He will give us what we ask for (1 John 5:14–15). However, there is one caveat to add to this: we may not always like the answer.

We pray for a lot of things—some good, some bad, some really pointless. But God listens to all of our prayers, regardless of what we ask (Matthew 7:7). He does not ignore His children (Luke 18:1–8). When we talk to Him, He has promised to listen and respond (Matthew 6:6; Romans 8:26–27). His answer may be some variation of “yes” or “no” or “wait, not now.”

Keep in mind that prayer is not our way of getting God to do what we want. Our prayers should be focused on things that honor and glorify God and reflect what the Bible clearly reveals God’s will to be (Luke 11:2). If we pray for something that dishonors God or is not His will for us, He is unlikely to give what we ask for. God’s wisdom far exceeds our own, and we must trust that His answers to our prayers are the best possible solutions.

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us – whatever we ask – we know that we have what we asked of him.

What is your sickness?

Feel Free to skip ahead to the Mamon Wilson part, if you don't want to consider the intro.

Romans 13:1-2 states that all authorities ( that means leaders) are appointed by God - for His purpose. We all hem and has about why this one got elected or why this person died or even why there is pain and suffering.
God tests our faith. We hold onto eternal life, a gift. Our purpose in life is to reconcile with God through Christ - sometime before we die.
Will you bring your wheelchair into heaven? No.
Will you see your loves ones again in heaven (if they were believers)? Yes
So these disappointments, set backs, this pain and suffering are temporary and cannot be compared to the eternal happiness we will ha e. It is a blip, a hiccup.
As for why God would ordain an evil, lying, corrupt president; judgment.
Look at all the bad kings in the Bible. Look at what happened when Israel became sinful; they were punished. The a Persians, Assyrians, Greeks and Romans warred against them, the Babylonians and Egyptians enslaved them.
Judgment Day is soon. A dark cloud of evil is covering the earth. A pestilence surrounded by lies, fear, and control is upon us. Satan works this way - If this isn't part of the Great Tribulation it is a precursor, "the beggining of sorrows".
Hold onto to your faith, focus on things above. Jesus can only fix this world - no one else can bwcause of sin.

Have you ever considered it may not be God's will for you to be healed? To say that prayer does not work because you did not get what you want means that you think you are better or more wise than God.

I know how you feel, but now is not the time for self-pity filled rants. God is not done yet! Let’s see all that is going on through to the end, whatever that may be. God has NOT let us down.

I have been miraculously healed a number of times but I still have a persistent cough and have lost count of the times people have prayed for me to be healed of it over many years. I know God heals, cos he healed me but I also know he doesn't heal every time.
