King David's mother was Nitzevet. It was his birth through her that he referred to there. He wasn't speaking of nor to the entire of the human race.
I trust that applies to all Naturally Born Earthlings.
Sheol predates the Hel of scripture.
1)
Yes it predates. NT and English language.
Sheol, Hades, Gehenna ... are foreign (Hebrew/Greek) language words that all are in reference to place of soul life, once a physical bodily Death occurs, and the Living soul departs.
OT- Sheol- Hebrew, was what they could imagine from limited knowledge.
OT- valley of Hinnon Just outside of Jerusalem where people sacrificed children, burning them alive...became "Gehenna"...the imagining of what Scheol was like, the pain, screams, stench.
-Greek- Hades- similar after Life place for souls.
NT- knowledge kept secret revealed.
Hell- place for departed Living souls out of dead Body's.
Hell- Divided by a gulf.
Hell-Living saved souls in comfort on 1 side
(Called Paradise)
Hell-Living unsaved souls in agony on other side.
Each side could, see, speak, hear, feel, smell. (Senses), but could cross gulf.
The Saved souls remained until ...JESUS bodily, His Soul Departed, went to hell for 3 days, returned to his body, Body rose up, walked the Earth 40 days, returned to Heaven...then ALSO saved souls were escorted to Heaven / there after called Paradise.
Paradise is where Saved souls Are.
The TREE OF LIFE is where Saved souls Are.
(Paradise and TREE OF LIFE ...has been;
ON Earth
IN the Earth
Presently IN Heaven
Shall be IN Gods Kingdom ON Earth.
I speak English, and simply use the word hell.
2)
Every Living soul that was ever in a human body and departed a human body is still a living soul.
•IN Paradise- ?- IN Heaven called Forever ALIVE and will be united with its risen glorified Body, ON EARTH.
•IN Hell- ? Shall be united with its risen damned body, IN Hell.(currently called Dead, Because it is unfaithfully separated from God)
Body and soul shall be judged according to books, revealing...no name for them (blotted out of Gods Book OF LIFE)...Lambs Book of Life (Christ) ... no name entered.
...Life in soul (Gods Breath) returns to God.(Gods Life never dies)
...their body & soul Destroyed/ 2nd death, burned.
*) I have been studying/researching/ haven't yet prayed about, asking Gods understanding...
Another "demise" of certain unsaved souls...
• an altogether different "Consequence for them because of particular acts".
That soul, given of God, from God, of God who is omniscient, and predestines all things goes into fire and brimstone for eternity?
•Saved, keeping Gods Breath of Life? No
•Unsaved, Breath of Life returns to God, Yes, that lifeless soul destroyed.
God Bless,
Taken
