Heb. 10:26-29
"For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:

Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?"

If we willfully stop believing in Christ, transferring our faith away from Him, there is no other sacrifice for our sins.

But the judgement of God is now on that person, he has counted the Blood of the Covenant of Christ as an unholy thing.

This is saying the same as Heb. 6, stop believing and turn away from Christ, and you have taken your lot with the unbelievers!
have you ever sinned willfully? have you ever got angry said some things you shouldn't ? NOT always using swear words be ye angry and sin NOT . to be Bible correct we are only saved once . when paul wrote work out your own salvation with fear and trembling . that is exactly what we need to be doing doing.
Man is not the Judge of salvation who goes to heaven who does not. there is No scripture that says we can live /do how we want after salvation . to be perfectly honest we dont know where or when the point of no return is. a TRUE blue born again person will have conviction . that should lead to repentance .
you would probably cringe at the message for sunday morning a lively hope a inheritance uncourruptible and undefiled .
its a know so salvation if you dont know odds are your not. facts are we can be eternally secure in him. after all we are kept by the power of God. or is that been removed from the Bible ? i really like peter writing he is a been there done that btw do you think peter lost his salvation ? he denied Christ 3 times he cursed in his denial .after the resurrection he had better things to do than follow Christ he went fishing
it took him a while but he got it right
for years after me being saved i could not say eternal life as per i did not know the scriptures nor was i mature enough for strong meat..

Once Saved Always Saved

Yes, Jesus offered his body once and FOR ALL.

Heb 10:
[
10] By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

Yes, Any man who REPENTS AND heartfully accepts his offering, becomes MADE and KEPT (soul) Saved and (spirit) Quickened ONCE and FOR EVER.

It is your choice, accept or deny His Offering.

But, But, But....there is a warning...

2 Pet 1:
[
10] Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure ...

Gee, why the warning to BE SURE?
LOL...

IF you are not sure ... hummm, WHY should God believe "your guesswork"?

Oh right, He doesn't...He searches your heart to see if your election be heartfully true....if not...uh oh you have lied to the Holy Spirit....oops!

1 Chr 28:
[9] And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.

This topic is hamstrung by an assumption that both sides make, i.e. that a person is saved immediately after a confession of belief. If this isn't true, then the debate is moot.
your exactly right every one makes a assumption

YOu should keep that verse in the context it was written in! It was spoken to the apostles and what they had to endure for the sake of the gospel! It is not about maintaining salvation by hanging onto to something. That is a work and means we have control when Scripture clearly tells us that our salvation is kept for us by Jesus , reserved in heaven until the day we are redeemed!
Ok... Well thanks for that. So do you believe that statement isn't also true when it comes to maintaining the faith, or is that not important?

Point you to the verse that says baby's are not water baptized....is not in Scripture.

Point you to the verse that says baby's are water baptized...is not in Scripture.
Beyond your comprehension??...the Scripture is Silent on babies baptism...

You want to drip water on a babys head, dunk them in water, who cares?

I am quite confident the Lord had the KNOWLEDGE INFANTS do not Know WHAT a God is let alone, had an expectation that infants could SPEAK and confess Belief in God....

Not particularly rocket science....billions of baby's have been naturally born without knowledge of God, and don't know of ONE case of earthly baby coming forth out of the womb, talking and saying, Hi mom, guess what... I repent of my sin and am confessing my belief in God, get me to the Baptism pool!

Funny actually, you have not figured out that little piece of common sense.
THANK YOU for pointing out that Scripture is NOT our "Sole Authority".

Where Scripture is silent, christ's Church speaks- with HIS Authority (Matt. 16:18-19, Matt. 18:15-18, Luke 10:16, John 16:12-15, John 20:21-23).

See your arrogant. You THINK you have done something you have by no means even come close to doing.

You cant even prove your own point, Yet you think you have me on my heals..

As for what I think of most catholics. I can only go from what I have experienced from them. And you fit their mold perfectly.
No - I was pointong to your anti-Cathollic hypocrisy that we Catholics are stupid and cluless when it comes to Scripture.
HOWEVER, when we soundly defeat you in a debate - all of a sudden, we're "Arrogant".

Not ONLY did I address your points - I used Scripture to prove you WRONG.
Deal with it . . .

You didn't answer the question.[/QUOTE0

False claim.

I expressly answered the question.

The mans eyesight was restored by the POWER of God!

You are so busy, slinging mud, you miss what is plainly and simply said.

The mans eyesight was restored by the POWER of God...so why do you STILL wonder of MUD restored his eyesight... weird.

WHY
, then, did He use mud?
Well...Jesus came to DIVIDE PEOPLE...
* People who would Comprehend, the mans sight was restored by the Power of God...
* And People who would WONDER...maybe even TRY rubbing MUD in a blind mans eyes.
(Never comprehending his sight was restored by the Power of God)

For other men "observing" this conversation...
My Fruits are revealed, KNOWING it was the Power of God that restored the mans sight.
And YOUR Fruits are revealed, WONDERING HOW MUD restored the mans sight.

To you From Jesus:
Matt 13:
[13] Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
WRONG.

Jesus used a PHYSICAL means to sure the Blind Man because we are PHYSICAL beings.
That's why He also used WATER to make wine instead of simply speaking it into existence.
That's why He also used existing food to multiply for the 5000 instead of simply speaking it into existence.
That's why He also used used spit and his finger to heal the Deaf-mute Man instead of simply telling him he was healed.
AND it is why He and prescribes WATER for Baptism (John 3:4, 1 Pet. 3:21) instead of telling a man he is born again.

WHY does James tell his readers that the Presbyters should anoint a sick person with OIL??
For the SAME reason, Einstein . . .

Sadly, When you get to the bottom of it. This who proclaim unbelief also teach one must endure to the end. Stop living a life of Sin...etc etc. So they are just using unbelief as an excuse to hide their works based I must maintain my salvation by my own power gospel.
Did you know osas also teaches that one must endure to the end or else they were never saved to begin with?

Rom. 10:17

"So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God"

The fruit of faith from the Spirit is a growing faith!

The faith to believe comes from the hearing of the Gospel/Word of God!
Yes and God gives the increase, give Him the Glory!

If that's what you want to believe, nothing I can do about it!

Several of us have shown you that osas in not true!

You can argue against plain scripture if you like, won't change anything!
Big difference from getting yourself saved, and becoming a son.

Then you parse some sins worse than others. Some sins will cost you your unification with God as a new celestial being, others don't. Hmm.

Where is it that you think sin comes from? Why is it that you think some sins affect your salvation and others don't? Are you saying there are sins that Just Don't Matter?

Considering that sins come from the flesh, how is it that you believe the flesh can veto the Spirit?

Much love!
When you sin because of unbelief, that is the sin that keeps your from salvation. That sin may take various forms, but it is the sin that is committed because of unbelief that will keep you out of the kingdom of God.

Two Choices One eliminates Doubt the other has no assurance, You have Said you have no assurance Its really Sad, The Bible is clear that you should

Seriously?

Ferris Bueller said:

Your believing is how you have God's keeping power.

Well then, if you didn't have one in mind, I'd go back to ask where you are connecting the idea of God's keeping power and faith, was there a passage you were thinking of? Or just stringing together the thoughts?

Much love!
You're the one who said the passage doesn't say that, lol. Why did you say that if you were not talking about a passage of scripture? I do have one in mind. Do you know which one says you are kept by God's power through faith?
