The God of the O.T. and N.T. are the same God. I was raised Jewish and worshipped the same God.
The obvious problem with this argument is that the Orthodox Jews created an entirely different religion that was based on personal interpretations of the Law, they observe multiple festivals on the wrong day(in the case of Passover, they even celebrate with the wrong symbols), they reject Jesus as being the fulfillment of the OT animal sacrifices, and much like Catholics and Protestants, they reject any idea that Jesus was a Lawgiver who came to uphold the authority of Moses' writings.

Jesus spent the final 3.5 years of His human life proving that He was the Lawgiver that Moses said they were supposed to listen to, and the Orthodox Jews still rejected Him. If a person is adhering to any religion that is based on rejecting the authority of Moses' writings, it automatically means they are worshiping a counterfeit version of God that is not reconcilable with the God that is shown in the Bible. That's the stone cold truth.

Religions like Catholicism, Protestantism, Islam, and Orthodox Judaism speak highly of Moses as a prophet and love to quote his writings when it becomes convenient for them, but the reality is that they all outright reject the authority of his writings when it comes to actually performing or believing what the Law requires of them.

That makes all the difference between the few people on this planet who are truly worshiping God and the billions of people who have nothing more than a fake religion that is centered around an equally fake version of God.
