In Daniel 7 the fourth kingdom was the Roman Empire.

In the end times, the kingdom that the ten kings and the little horn person come out of is the same fourth kingdom, but manifested in the end times. The Roman Empire manifested in the end times is the EU.

Daniel says the 4th beast will be judged and destroyed at a coming of God. He did not say the beast somehow is able to survive the fire judgment and return centuries later in a new form.

The EU will end when Jesus returns.

But the EU is not the 4th beast in Daniel or the beast in Rev 13. Daniel's 4th beast could not be Rome because nothing written there matches Rome historically, nor is the Rev 13 beast Rome or a Rome variant.

Who is involved in the great tribulation? Nimrod. He is the beast of the sea who was and is not and will come again. He is the eighth king and is of the seven.
Nimrod lived 4200 years ago, a grandson of Noah. A mighty hunter. Some scholars suggest he might have been a king of Babel. He served his purpose, died and that was that. Where did you get this view that what ... he will come back to life?

The false prophet of Revelation 13 will be a Jew, who the Jews will initially believe is Elijah. The Jews (Judaism) expect Elijah to come and be a part of the start up to the messianic age. A Jewish custom is to set a dinner plate for Elijah at their Passover meal - to stress that expectation.

In Revelation 13:13, the false prophet calls fire down from heaven - which the prophet Elijah did in his confrontation with the prophets of Baal.

The Jews (Judaism) believe that the king of Israel messiah will be anointed king of Israel by a "known" prophet, similar to what Saul and David, anointed by the prophet Samuel, and Solomon anointed by the prophet Nathan

The false prophet will be the one who will anoint the prince that shall come in Daniel 9:26, the king of Israel, thus making the prince that shall come the Antichrist.
I am not an adherent of Daniel's 70 weeks/ Gap view. That prophecy spokebof Jesus 1st coming with several added allusions to the Temple being destroyed as well. I know it is the Pre-Trib view - they cling to. It's one of many views and that's okay, I would prefer you guys were right - don't feel like going through any of the GT. But I hold tobthe 7th Trumpet as thr last, at which time we'll be snatched up. Tha means we'll have to suffer through much of it- just not the Bowls of Wrath.

Did Daniel write about the AC figure and another person who assists him? When Paul wrote of the man of sin, commonly believed to be the AC, did he also write of this other supportive person?
The Antichrist is implied in Daniel 7 & 8 as the Little Horn.
In Rev. 13 ot discusses 2 beasts. But actually the Dragon (Satan) is there as well empowering them (all antichrists). They call it the unholy trinity.

Rev. 19:20 Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone

Yes and like Paul, there is just the AC singular figure not a second person who works with him. So, in Rev 13 there is not two persons, an Ac and a FP. It is a kingdom and the FP who is the AC. One person not two just like Daniel and Paul described.

There are different views of Rev. 13. Many Pre-Mil scholars like John MacArthur claim that the beast of the sea is the Antichrist and the beast of the earth a religious leader who supports the Antichrist.

Even AI can sort that out ... without discernment, because it is plainly and literally written that way:
"According to various interpretations of biblical prophecy, particularly within Christian eschatology, both an Antichrist (also known as the "beast" from the sea) and a False Prophet (also known as the "beast" from the earth) are expected to emerge and play significant roles during the coming Great Tribulation period.
Here's what the Bible, especially the book of Revelation, says about them:

  • The Antichrist:
    • Often portrayed as a powerful political and military leader who will dominate the world.
    • He is described as rising from the "sea" of humanity and embodying the characteristics of previous world kingdoms.
    • He will have authority and power given to him by Satan.
    • Some interpret him as the "man of lawlessness" who will oppose and exalt himself against God.
  • The False Prophet:
    • Described as a religious figure who will support and promote the worship of the Antichrist.
    • He will perform miraculous signs to deceive people, including calling down fire from heaven.
    • He will cause the earth's inhabitants to worship the Antichrist and demand that they receive a mark to buy or sell.
    • This mark, known as the "mark of the Beast," is often associated with the number 666.
    • The False Prophet's activities will focus on religion, solidifying the Antichrist's political power.
Their role in the Great Tribulation:
Together, the Antichrist and the False Prophet will form an "unholy trinity," working under Satan's influence to deceive the world and establish a false system of worship. They will control various aspects of society, including politics, religion, and the economy, seeking to usurp God's glory."

>> Just curious, where did you get your view, what scholars are behind it?

Anyways, no need to squabble, you go ahead and hold tightly to your view as many do, wait and observe when it soon happens ... maybe it will unfold as you say?
