I've lived under a left leaning woke, corrupt, incompetent, elitist WEF influenced liberal government here for 10 years and now they have been installed for another 4 year term. The lunatics are running the asylum. We are and have been facing the exact same problem you have down there in the USA brother, so of course I know exactly what it's like.

Divided nation....two different visions that are clashing. Taxed to death even when you die, and it's getting nearly impossible for average folks to keep a roof over their heads here, if they are lucky enough to even find one, and homelessness is greatly increasing. I have even seen homeless couples living out of their car or in a tent...never seen that before. They've brought so many immigrants into the country without having the infrastructure to look after them all, there is not enough housing, and what there is is not affordable for most people any more, and the health care and public education systems are drowning. Justice system that is drowning too...not enough judges and lawyers and courthouses and jail to deal with all the crime, so they let everyone out on bail and give them lenient sentences. I think we probably have a worse mess here than you do.
War, an accidental mistake because of disagreement?....Naaaahhhh, a deliberate exercise in destruction; the natural outworking of the Kingdoms of this World.
Were it not for the restraining influence of the Spirit of God our World would long have ground itself into the ground.

Heard today that Mercedes will start making more cars in Alabama! Also, that Kimberly Clark corporation will make a factory in Ohio! More jobs.
Looks like Donny is a idiot to me.I see him that way.

The President isn't an idiot. He's doing things to help our country in the future. Already some companies are going to create more jobs in the USA....rather than giving the work to foreign workers overseas.

Also, foreign countries took advantage of us for a long time regarding tariffs. Over 50 called already trying to negotiate with the USA.

Just as the older brother, in the story Jesus coined, felt totally justified in not going into the celebrations the Father turned on for his wayward Son, so too those who justify their tightfistedness disqualify themselves of the joy freely given.

Has it been forgotten that Jesus said, 'he who seeks to save his life will loose it and he who looses it for my sake and the gospel's will save it'? Matthew 16:25, Luke 17:33

The Media only work to try and make Trump out that way ! It's typical brainwasing tec, they use that intent ! for they are just the same ilk as Hitler and all Communist in fact use ! It's number one game plan. Satanism 101 !

I understand why Trump has to play it like he does and he is doing a fantastic Job of it in fact !
It's an Operation ! as he said so, and said some pain will be a fact, but the USA will get rid of the Cancer ! and get back on track to becoming a healthy Nation once again !
But the Satanic Left only wants to push and peddle outright depravity, Stupidity and total ignorance ! They are selling the People out and down the drain in fact ! but many people are clearly possessed ! like who could Vote for the Left, seriously ! They are clearly an abomination !

Oh no Trump is diffrent ? so little boys get fearfull ! because they are brainwashed ! they think you can not go outside of the bounds of their bubble boy world ! they freek out ! not only that, but support every stupid idiot thing that the Socialist peddle ! Stand up to Trump ? BS.
Why do they support such childish crap ! when anyone knows that Trump wants to what he was elected to do ! put USA back on track and stop all of the Socialist bleeding the USA dry ! as has been the case in fact !

So the little Socialist Boy club, thinks they can play Hitler ! but the reality with that intent is, that they are only going to hurt people in fact, their own ecomomys, they willingly shaft in fact ! but the Media does not expose that fact !
But geting on with the Job like a responcible Government of their own people and making deals ! They will not ! how outright childish, but typical of any Socialist brat Party typically does !

If the Canada Socialist wants to play the fool, so be it ! same with the UK Socialist and France Socialist, they will come to great greef as they wish on their people, that's the real deal in fact and always was in fact The deal that was being taken on for years ! Nothing but total Idiots !

Scripture doesn't actually agree with Calvin.....he takes things too far.....he is in the carnal natural mind with these things, but we need to be in the mind of Christ, in other words be in spirit:

Act 17:25-28

Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;

And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:

For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

Your guy is going full on global warming existentialism

You just elected a communist/ socialist who is about to put Canada in the dump. Socialist policies always punish the achievers. You have heard it before, "make the rich pay the taxes". "make the rich pay their fair share". That's socialism. Rich people telling the brainwashed that the rich need to pay. Hypocrisy.

I wasn't meaning you.

I don't see that. I see a lot of enthusiasm, I see a lot of jubilation over stopping the wrecking ball of Biden and his bunch.

Show me just person who worships our President. Just one!

We are enthusiastic because of what we've been going thru under Biden, and the evil that was being done against this country. Do you know how relieved you feel when you've pulled out a splinter? Multiply that by 1,000's!

This is why I bring up about those who actually live here, we have the perspective that you don't. And so our perspective is miscontrued as worship? I think I know where that is coming from, the devil doesn't like his plans frustrated. So we're accused of worshiping him.

Don't believe the hype.

"Bagging on someone" is colloquialism for being critical, criticizing. And I maintain this is continuing without foundation.

Much love!
When the Lord decided to judge Babylon, He sent in a wrecking ball of His own, and nothing could stop it. Except repentance could have prevented Him from sending it. That wrecking ball was called Cyrus, destroyer of the Gentiles, a ravenous bird from the east. Are the times of the Gentiles drawing to an end in these days? The Gentiles have had over two thousand years to repent now. Do we see any repentance in our Gentile nations or do they continue down the path of increasing transgression? Just like our example Israel, only a remnant will be saved.

I don't see too many sighing and crying over the sins in the camp and in the land and calling for repentance these days, but I see many more trusting in the arm of the flesh. It's as though politics has supplanted the gospel as a means to salvation/rescue.

The church in America thrives. Christendom - cultural Christianity - should never be mistaken for the church, the actual body of Christ.
Was the apostle Paul mistaken in talking about a falling away? There is only a remnant who are not bending the knee to Baal. But it's not too late for individuals to change course and repent.

I know what you're saying about seeking. God desires all men to seek for Him.
However scripture also says no one seeks for God.
Romans 3:11
There is none who understands; There is none who seeks after God.

So what does this mean?
Scriptures do explain these things, only the elect, whom He chose, will have faith.

Romans 8
28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. 29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

Titus 1:1
Paul, a bondservant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s elect and the acknowledgment of the truth which accords with godliness,

Mark 13:20
And unless the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake, whom He chose, He shortened the days.
I wonder if that could be hyperbole (the Lord often speaks that way) because God has always had a remnant, even before the cross. Examples in the bible such as Abel, Enoch, Noah, Job, Abraham, Moses etc.

I am of the understanding that if God elected no one and through teaching them by His Spirit to know Him, that no one would believe in Christ.

When Jesus did miracles, some believed because of what they saw, but others did not and some accusing Him of being empowered by Satan.

All of John 6 is a very good explanation of why some of the people believed in Him, and why others did not.
I posted a lot of John 6, not all. People need to read the scriptures, that will help them to understand.

****************************************
After these things Jesus went over the Sea of Galilee, which is the Sea of Tiberias. 2 Then a great multitude followed Him, because they saw His signs which He performed on those who were diseased.[a] 3 And Jesus went up on the mountain, and there He sat with His disciples.

4 Now the Passover, a feast of the Jews, was near. 5 Then Jesus lifted up His eyes, and seeing a great multitude coming toward Him, He said to Philip, “Where shall we buy bread, that these may eat?” 6 But this He said to test him, for He Himself knew what He would do.

7 Philip answered Him, “Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may have a little.”

8 One of His disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, said to Him, 9 “There is a lad here who has five barley loaves and two small fish, but what are they among so many?”

10 Then Jesus said, “Make the people sit down.” Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand. 11 And Jesus took the loaves, and when He had given thanks He distributed them [b]to the disciples, and the disciples to those sitting down; and likewise of the fish, as much as they wanted. 12 So when they were filled, He said to His disciples, “Gather up the fragments that remain, so that nothing is lost.” 13 Therefore they gathered them up, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves which were left over by those who had eaten. 14 Then those men, when they had seen the sign that Jesus did, said, “This is truly the Prophet who is to come into the world.”
*********************************************
26 Jesus answered them and said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, you seek Me, not because you saw the signs, but because you ate of the loaves and were filled. 27 Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him.”

28 Then they said to Him, “What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?”

29 Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”

30 Therefore they said to Him, “What sign will You perform then, that we may see it and believe You? What work will You do? 31 Our fathers ate the manna in the desert; as it is written, ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’ ”

32 Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, Moses did not give you the bread from heaven, but My Father gives you the true bread from heaven. 33 For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”

34 Then they said to Him, “Lord, give us this bread always.”

35 And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst. 36 But I said to you that you have seen Me and yet do not believe. 37 All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will [f]by no means cast out. 38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. 39 This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. 40 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”
******************************************

41 The Jews then [g]complained about Him, because He said, “I am the bread which came down from heaven.” 42 And they said, “Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How is it then that He says, ‘I have come down from heaven’?”

43 Jesus therefore answered and said to them, [h]“Do not murmur among yourselves. 44 No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day. 45 It is written in the prophets, ‘And they shall all be taught by God.’ Therefore everyone who [i]has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me. 46 Not that anyone has seen the Father, except He who is from God; He has seen the Father. 47 Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes [j]in Me has everlasting life. 48 I am the bread of life. 49 Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and are dead. 50 This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that one may eat of it and not die. 51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.”

52 The Jews therefore quarreled among themselves, saying, “How can this Man give us His flesh to eat?”

53 Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you. 54 Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. 55 For My flesh is [k]food indeed, and My blood is [l]drink indeed. 56 He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him. 57 As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me. 58 This is the bread which came down from heaven—not as your fathers ate the manna, and are dead. He who eats this bread will live forever.”

59 These things He said in the synagogue as He taught in Capernaum.

Many Disciples Turn Away

60 Therefore many of His disciples, when they heard this, said, “This is a [m]hard saying; who can understand it?”

61 When Jesus knew in Himself that His disciples [n]complained about this, He said to them, “Does this [o]offend you? 62 What then if you should see the Son of Man ascend where He was before? 63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life. 64 But there are some of you who do not believe.” For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who did not believe, and who would betray Him. 65 And He said, “Therefore I have said to you that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted to him by My Father.”

66 From that time many of His disciples went [p]back and walked with Him no more. 67 Then Jesus said to the twelve, “Do you also want to go away?”

68 But Simon Peter answered Him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. 69 Also we have come to believe and know that You are the [q]Christ, the Son of the living God.”

70 Jesus answered them, “Did I not choose you, the twelve, and one of you is a devil?” 71 He spoke of Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon, for it was he who would betray Him, being one of the twelve.

Yes, it's by His Spirit.....faith not of our own. As the scripture says, what do we have that we did not receive? (from God). But it's the individual who must receive........many resist Him, reject Him and harden their hearts against the truth. That's why the Lord is just and righteous to hold everyone accountable for how we respond to the offer of Christ and the gospel. He only rejects those who reject Him. And He only hardens those who harden themselves. "Whosoever will may come and take of the water of life freely."

But this all comes down to His sovereign rule & reign, which is a hard thing to grasp, and we may only be understanding in part at best. The Lord recently was gracious to give me to understand that He is ruling & reigning every bit as much in the things He passively allows as in the things He actively intervenes in.

Less than half the country voted for him. He only has a minority government. The system here is not very equitable to start with and needs reforming.

Verses about being blinded to the Truth of God on Christ from the amplified classic bible

2 Corinthians 4:4
For the god of this world has blinded the unbelievers’ minds [that they should not discern the truth], preventing them from seeing the illuminating light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ (the Messiah), Who is the Image and Likeness of God.

John 12

39 Therefore they could not believe [they were unable to believe]. For Isaiah has also said,

40 He has blinded their eyes and hardened and benumbed their [callous, degenerated] hearts [He has made their minds dull], to keep them from seeing with their eyes and understanding with their hearts and minds and repenting and turning to Me to heal them.

41 Isaiah said this because he saw His glory and spoke of Him.

Romans 11:7
What then [shall we conclude]? Israel failed to obtain what it sought [God’s favor by obedience to the Law]. Only the elect (those chosen few) obtained it, while the rest of them became callously indifferent (blinded, hardened, and made insensible to it).

1 John 2:11
But he who hates (detests, despises) his brother [in Christ] is in darkness and walking (living) in the dark; he is straying and does not perceive or know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.

From what I've seen he and his wife are climate activists. And maybe he thinks it wouldn't hurt to make a bunch of money off it all while he can. The Holy Spirit told me Al Gore was lying way back when he came out with his first book on this. Canada's contribution to pollution is miniscule compared to other countries....yet they act as though the whole problem is our fault and on our shoulders to solve. You know, the earth has gone through climate changes and cycles many times.....ice age for instance, and the Sahara desert was once a lush green area. Is anybody considering or looking into the possibility that there are natural reasons for current events? Well, that would be an inconvenient truth for some though wouldn't it? (Not that I believe we should be irresponsible and poor stewards of the planet and pollute willy nilly in any case. )
