But part of you says, "Does anybody have any idea just how many things could go wrong here that could throw a monkey wrench in the whole thing, and then we dug our own hole and threw ourselves into it with no way to climb out?" I'm wondering what happens if we were to be hit by another pandemic, because it's been prophesied that another one is coming...

Anyway, barring a miracle, 3:48 - 5:08 appears to be what's coming now.

Well that's a little dire and grim, LoL.

Amigo, we still have a long ways to go before the end here. I think things will get tougher, but for those who trust in Christ it will become an increasingly glorious time when they do. Humanity will have to rely on Him more and seek Him in prayer. And as a result they will see Him moving in their lives more than ever before.

So there are positive and negative ways to view what's going on. The part I agree with you on is that tougher times when they do come will be a judgment from God, but was having so much prosperity that we didn't really lean on Him all that much a good thing? For the spiritual man, I think the answer is no there.

Not sure if I posted this, but TV India from 10 days ago. Hard to take matters too hard when it's coming through an accent like this, LoL, but I do think he hits on a good point at 3:08. Something I was driving at before. If the rest of the world gets the feeling like we could pull the plug on them at any minute, they are gonna start looking for an exit plan just in case, and that means drifting away from the dollar. The more they do that, the more we will be paying more for everything.

Actually it doesn't give me the creepy crawlies. I'm trusting in the Lord. Not like, "OH, I'm just going to not think about all the doom and gloom the "prophets" are foretelling", rather, I know as a fact that the Lord has good planned for me, and I'm not concerned even if it's wrapped in what looks like trouble.

Naturally! And even so, we are still seeing short term benefits as numerous major corporations are in the process of realigning themselves for US domestic production.

Yep! Do you have any idea of all the things that could go wrong completely aside from anything Trump is doing, for good or bad? The president's actions represent a tiny fraction of the actual risks we all face daily. A tiny fraction!

Becoming obsessed with one man's actions against all the rest that is going on, this doesn't seem balanced to me. Not saying you are obsessed with this, but clearly there are many people obsessed in this way.

If you break your bone, and it sets crooked, you have to rebreak it to set it right, so you won't be crippled. Does that hurt? I'm sure it must! (I've never broken a bone.) But if you don't do it you will be crippled.

So our president is attempting to "uncripple" this nation. This is a tried and true method, and it is already producing results.

I wouldnt worry about a bit of it . My concern is the repentance of this peoples and specially within the massive amount of christendom .
JESUS fed five thousand , so no matter what is coming HE can still provide for the faithful .

I have been thinking today about Trump's approval rating. Trump is a character that almost no one feels indifferent about.
A majority will likely not like the guy for the next 3.5 years, unless he manages to improve the economy.
Public sentiment about the economy is in the trash right now, they don't feel good about the way it is headed.

Even today, Trump was the best candidate compared to Harris, he was miles ahead of her and still is.
Trump is a disruptive guy. He breaks things. The jury is still out whether he can make something better.

Couple days ago, I was pretty worried about running out of 316 SS screws for my boat project. So I splurged and bought a huge box of 1500 3" long screws. See this boat is out of the water at a marina and costs me $500 per month. Now imagine if I cannot get screws for who knows how long...

And of course I agree. Why wouldn't I? Or are you of the mind that those of us who voted Trump are blinded? What's the message here?

The message is to be clear-sighted so as to not make an idol out of anyone. Anyone who agrees with that can just, well, agree. I'm not talking about the politics so much as I'm concerned about where everybody's hearts are, who know the Lord.

It's just politics, this isn't a theocracy. We've hired a boss. We picked the best of the bunch. Let's just all get over it and stop making this more than it is.

I'm not so sure it isn't becoming a theocracy. What does it mean when the President installs a "Christian minister" into a position called Senior Adviser of the White House Faith Office? That makes the President, a political leader, her boss as concerns spiritual matters. A huge conflict of interest there....it makes that supposed Christian minister compromised. And he can potentially dictate to her what to preach and teach from that office. Trump's inauguration service was an ecumenical interfaith service, involving Muslim, Hindu, Catholic and unbelieving Jewish religions. Real obedient Christians can have nothing to do with joining in with the prayers and spiritual songs of paganism. We are not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers........and participating with them in spiritual things is doing exactly what that scripture is telling us not to do. When someone comes to Christ we are to come out from among them and be separate, to be received by the Lord. It's a real mess brother.

And again . . . just because someone supports Trump in no wise - not in any way - means that they worship the man. Could I share for a moment just how tired I am of hearing that vanity?

And even so . . . Our founding fathers envisioned a nation led by Christians. That's why the "separation of church and state", so that none of them would try to elevate their particular Christian denomination. Do you realize that?

We elected a president, the best choice of the candidates, to dig us out of the mess left by the previous one. Yeah, the man has a huge ego. Just like a lot of other highly successful men. It seems to be part of the tool kit.

No one is perfect, not you, not me, not him. But he's the one everyone is bagging on.

And he can potentially dictate to her what to preach and teach from that office.

As chief executive, he has thousands and thousands of employees under him. Isn't it YOUR country that is jailing preachers for preaching? And it was the Biden regime that was jailing people for praying and preaching. Trump has been pardoning these people.

It seems to me Canada has been going down that road, not the USA, not under President Trump.
