Why I Warn, and Why I Won’t Stop

I'm new and so haven't read any but these the posts of the op.

It sounds to me like he's bragging. Exhibiting pride and expressing self aggrandizement.

I think it's one thing to defend one's understanding of doctrine. However, to be fair and humble in the course of that I think that person has to also be open to accepting they can be wrong.

I don't get that from reading the op and subsequent replies from RenewedStrength316.

When somebody holding a doctrine with which we disagree verbally backhands us across the right cheek, we could turn and offer them the left one too.

I don’t know where I get these ideas.
