I like your post and need to share with you a study note from today's devotional reading. From Matthew 19:24, cross-referencing Study Note to Luke 18:25 of the NSRV Cultural Study Bible:

I firmly believe it is priests who are most guilty of perpetuating this mistaken notion of what the "eye of the needle" means so stock piling money will be more palatable to those of us with itching ears. I like how the note talks about this being "nearly" and "virtually" impossible AS IF it is remotely possible under normal laws of physics. Sell what you have and give the money to the poor. Make yourselves moneybags that never wear out. Make sure your treasure is safe in heaven, where thieves cannot steal it and moths cannot destroy it.

Here is what can help one who might struggle in that area .
Allow me to introduce you to a man that was a very wicked creature indeed .
And yet Rather than recieving the second death sentence i deserved , GOD SENT Grace .
WHEN we realize we aint no better than any other
And that IN TRUTH the only goodness a sheep does have IS OF GOD , IS HIS SPIRIT WITHIN US
Its quite simple to realize we have zero right to HOLD a g rudge against any that does us wrong .
SEEING i wronged BOTH GOD and man So many times
if each time represented a grain of sand , I HAD SAT ON TOP of MOUNT EVEREST .
AND YET MERCY was shown and GRACE was given and a new heart came with it .
May i suggest we all open again our bibles and get real busy loving and learning the beautiful truth within them pages .

What happens is the mum does not want the attention on her ! so they cover such things up !

Same with a child that is clearly on drugs and a problem or even a huge problem, they just move into denial mode. That's their little world !

Such people can be just so far stuck up and know what they would think or react to another's dirty laundry was aired out.

We have a drug pusher not next door but one up, I get on well with her she is a good woman but one son who is 65yo now and still living with mummy ! well she is in total denial about his drug nonsense to everyone in the street ! but she knows that I know and will talk to me within reason.
He is not a nasty person, but just a real sook tho and just lives in a Pixie Land world, typical of a Socialist who had wealthy parents, he thinks everyone is so well off, that nothing matters at all.
He claims, That We are a wealthy Country don't you know ! oh boy what a total jerk ! being on the Dole is a human right's issue to him regardless if you want to work or not ?

I believe you confuse “the state” with being a “Christian”....we are not to be part of the world and its governance because there is only one ruler of this world identified by Jesus as such. (John 12:31)

God’s rulership is not man’s rulership, as is clearly evident by the heinous weapons and wanton bloodshed of wars that are nothing to do with God....they are fought among men for men’s agendas...sacrificing lives...for what? When did war ever end wars?

It also explains why those millions of so-called “Christians” were, by their disobedience to Christ, proving false to the meaning of the name. Jesus never advocated for military activity among his disciples....his army were angelic, no need for humans or human weaponry.

No genuine Christian can take the life of his fellow man....for any reason. He will take a bullet for his brother, but he will never fire one.
How can we say that we are not “returning evil for evil” by doing to those “enemies of the state” the same as what they are doing to us? (Rom 12:17-21)
The world will retaliate as it wants to, but we must not be among them....

His mother should have called 911 within moments of her child telling her they were abused.

And where is the father in all this? He should have been a man of action and made sure the perp was arrested immediately.

I belong to the Lord Jesus and I'm a citizen of His Kingdom so if the state wants to whack me they'll be doing me a favor as I'm going to be with the Lord where things are good... REAL good.
