100% wrong on both counts. You might not consider yourself a citizen of the State but Australia considers you a part (citizen) of the State.
I really don’t care what the “state” thinks of me...it’s what Jehovah and his Son think of me, that counts.
The world was handed over to satan to do as he pleased, (Luke 4:5-7) and to give rulership to whomever he wanted.....but why did God give him that power? If you know why, then it is obvious why he told us not to be part of that arrangement, especially when it comes to governmental issues involving bloodshed.......the devil is in control of all of that. The real enemy is not another country or religion, but the deceiver of the whole world. (1 John 5:19) Are you aware of his game and how he controls those he can indoctrinate with patriotic sentiment? It’s not “for God AND country”...but “for God OR country”. We have to choose, because each represents a different master.
What was the purpose of world rulership being given into the hands of God’s Adversary? What then was the meaning of Jesus’ words to his disciples to be “no part of that world”....but also “to give to Caesar what is Caesar’s, but God’s things to God”?
Remember it was “all the kingdoms of the entire inhabited earth” that were offered to Jesus.....can satan deliver what is not his to give? If so, where was the temptation?
If we are trying to prop up a dying system.....one that God has carefully managed in order for his worshippers to enjoy even a measure of peace in these “last days”, so that the preaching work that Jesus assigned to them could be carried out in “the entire inhabited earth” (Matt 24:14)....who are we to race in with all guns blazing in conflicts that God is permitting and has ultimate control over, for the achievement of his own purpose? Are you working with God or against him?
Did you know that this world’s woes are teaching us something about rulership that leaves God out of the picture? Humans under satan’s control have always made a right mess of governance, no matter what form it has taken...all have failed monumentally, and democracy is the last one to go belly up...it is also the last one before God destroys them all. The world will come together in one last ditch attempt to control the masses, under the guise of world “peace and security”..... but it will be short lived.
Are you so blinded by national pride that you cannot see that the world in all its agony was the result of God subjecting the human race to the rulership they chose? But the end justifies the means....the end result will be worth all the pain.....never again will mankind be subjected to the futility of human rulership....and never again will a “devil” make himself an adversary of his own Creator.
In the end, the pain, which is not inflicted by us, but by those who “do not know God and who do not obey” the teachings of his Christ, will go down with the ruler they supported....disloyal and disobedient, they will have no citizenship granted in his Kingdom.
