We talk a lot about the end times, the second coming, prophecy etc. Most of it is debating over incidentals, with some being hyper sensitive over unimportant detail. What we don't ask ourselves or each other, is, are we prepared, remembering we are to walk a narrow way along which are difficulties and hard decisions and challenges. Are we learning to overcome those challenges? Are we exercising our faith and learning to trust God for everything? Are we regularly spending time with God in prayer and reading His word? And not just reading, but truly studying, pleading for understanding with a hunger and thirst for truth.
Some believe Jesus isn't coming back for 1000 years. Some at least 100. Personally, I think Jesus is returning soon. But either way, today still could be anyone's last day on this earth. Are you ready? And why, or why not?

The future promises somewhat more than one volcano. Like the entire planet being shaken. Like hailstones the size of footballs. Like plagues that are real and global. Disasters unprecedented. Tests of faith like never before. Sadly, most Christians don't think they need to be concerned as they won't be here. Why sad? Because they have based this gravely somber and important mindset on such flimsy evidence. How can they be ready for something they believe won't affect them?
