You have just deleted yourself from the list of people I engage with

But of course. Those who reject God's Word are lead by their dark spirit guides to get upset.

That's par for course

I want nothing to do with blasphemers of the Holy Spirit of my Father.

You are the only who believes the Jesus was incapable of working through the True Holy Spirit to control what went in to God's Canon. So sad for you. That ends badly, FYI.

I am admonished in the scripture not to even pray for you.

Not that the Lord even hears the prayers of the tares.

Let me see if I can state the situation more clearly. The gospel is a process of salvation.
well there is your first mistake.. the gospel is the good news of Jesus. it tells us how we can be saved..
, beginning at the cross. The cross items the way of communication and grants man legal status before God. We are then justified.
We are only justified if we place our faith in Christ, and recieve this precious gift. If we have not recieved in faith. we are not justified.
But justification gives us legal rights, not fitness rights. We need to be changed. Sanctified. Proven as fit candidates for the kingdom by a change of character. That change in character produces works. Fruits of righteousness. Fruit of the Spirit.
And hence. you are trying to earn your salvation. You reject grace you reject the cross. you reject the gospel.

Your trying to mix sanctification and justification.

Justification is a one time deal. You are justifed FREELY by the grace of God.

Sanctification is a lifetime of growing in christ. and will never be completed until we get to heaven and see him face to face.

Works are for rewards? Yes, but that's not all. When was the last time you read the parable of the sheep and the goats?? How were they judged? And what was the result?
Keep trying like the pharisees to earn your salvation. You will fail. and you will not like the outcome.. Fall to your knees and recieve christ.. or reject him abd try to save yourself

We are only justified if we place our faith in Christ, and recieve this precious gift. If we have not recieved in faith. we are not justified.
James 2:17
Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

James 2:20
But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

James 2:24
Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

So faith is not just claiming we believe something, it's also acting like what we
believe is true which is what makes one's faith alive whether it be sowing to the
Spirit or sowing to the flesh. Adam sinned so he went from sowing to the Spirit to
sowing to the flesh and reaped corruption (Gal 6:7,8)

And hence. you are trying to earn your salvation.

That what all the false teachers claim as they teach we are not called to good works and we are not called to obedience
They fail to understand Phil 4:13

Phil 4:13
I can do all things thru Christ Who strengthens me

God is not mocked, we we sow is what we reap (Gal 6:7,8) if one sows to the Spirit they reap life, if one sows to the flesh they reap separation from God which is what spiritual death is

We are given God's Spirit when we get born again and it's BY HIS SPIRIT that we walk in agreement with him so nobody is trying to earn their salvation when they submit to the leading of the Holy Spirit to walk in agreement with the Lord which is one of the good works we have been called to that can only be accomplished by submitting to the leading of the Lord as we die to self.

The false teachers are sin conscience so anybody not claiming to be a sinner as they love to claim about themselves, they think are trying to earn their salvation by pleasing God through their own efforts.

They false teachers (adherents to so called reformed theology) don't have the True Holy Spirit (they got religious devils that are impersonating the Holy Spirit) so they are ignorant of what God's Word teaches not having the mind (understanding) of Christ and instead they operated under the mind (understanding) of the devil and sadly they don't even know it.

There's a great deal of presumption, judging, and unjustified criticism in your prejudiced post. And you draw conclusions from your own bias, not from anything I've written, despite your claims to the contrary. In short, I've never claimed, ever, to you or anyone else, that one is saved by his works. And you didn't read the parable of the sheep and the goats did you?

and?

I am 100 % in agreement

If you have true faith. As paul said in eph 2 10. You WILL WORK

But your nopt saved by faith plus works. Your saved by faith

Works prove you had real faith. they do not now nore will they ever save you..
That what all the false teachers claim as they teach we are not called to good works and we are not called to obedience

So you are perfect. from birth until today you have never sinned, not even once?

Yet you mock God with your pharisee type legalism

The pharisees where not good enough. what makes you think you are better than they are? Even paul said he was not good enough. He put it all in christ. will you repent. or continue to mock God with your works?

lol

Just as I figured. No meat. just a bunch of silly accusations.

You teach a gospel of works.. I have seen it 100 times.. If you were honest. you would admit it.. But like the pharisees, you refuse to acknowledge your own pride.

I can not help you brother if you will not help yourself

And you still haven't read the parable of the sheep and goats. A classic clear proof and example of how we are judged by our works.

Judged by Our Deeds

Romans 2:6
He will judge everyone according to what they have done.

1 Peter 1:17
And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:

Matthew 16:27
For the Son of Man will come with his angels in the glory of his Father and will judge all people according to their deeds.

2 Corinthians 5:10
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

Salvation is not a reward for good works.

Salvation is a gift of god.

Wen you stand before God you will stand forgiven. and go through the beme judgment, and recieve Gold silver precious stone, wood hay or straw.

Or ytou will stand in front of him condemned. And your works will be judged and you will be found wanting. and he will reply to you. depart from me, for I never knew you.

Your works will keep you out of heaven. You better repent.

Never claimed otherwise.

Yep.

Indeed. Just what I said.

Absolutely.

So. What were we arguing about?
We are not arguing.

Your works. if done to save yourself. will keep you out of heaven.

Remember jesus words. When the workers confronted him, Did we not do all these works in your name. Jesus will say depart for he never knew them.

I will be rewarded for works. or lose rewards due to lack of works. I will not be judged worthy by my works. so my works can not save me..

Maybe not arguing. But you are determined with a zeal I haven't often seen, to paint me in a particular corner. That corner spells heretic...unsaved... unchristian... legalistic... apostate (if ever I was saved at all)... unbeliever (ifI wasn't ever saved). That is your continuing inference, and to which i take exception and on that point, our conversation is pointless. I will leave you to your prejudices.
I do teach however that while our works can never save us, we are judged by our works and certain of those works and the motivation behind than affect our eternal destiny. Just like as taught in the parable of the sheep and the goats. Have you read that yet?

You can spin it however you want it. When you say that any work. or motivation behind any work affect our eternal destiny. You are teaching salvation by works.

So I suggest you stop attacking me and claiming I am misrepresenting or falsly accusing you. and own up to what you are teaching.

The bolded part of your post is not grace. It denys grace.

“43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. 44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? 45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. 46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. ”
Matthew 25:43-46 KJV

And do you seriously believe that you will gain heaven and eternal life regardless of what you do, say, and think? That is not grace. That is presumption. I'm not misrepresenting you. Your hyper grace antinomianism oozes from every post you write.
In Revelation the saved and lost are contrasted throughout, but none more so than in chapters 12 13, and 14 where in each chapter the saved are described as commandment keepers, and as having the faith of Jesus.

One cannot keep any commandment without faith in the active reality of God's power sustaining the life of the obedient.

The following is the mind we are to have, and according to the first statement his apostles asked him to increase their faith, and after this passage quoted below the text changes to a different subject matter: and moreover the final verse which is quoted below is given in the form of a commandment. And remember that the Gospel now known as Luke is, for all intents and purposes, the Gospel of Paul.

Luke 17:5-10 ASV
5 And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.
6 And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye would say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou rooted up, and be thou planted in the sea; and it would obey you.
7 But who is there of you, having a servant plowing or keeping sheep, that will say unto him, when he is come in from the field, Come straightway and sit down to meat;
8 and will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?
9 Doth he thank the servant because he did the things that were commanded?
10 Even so ye also, when ye shall have done all the things that are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants; we have done that which it was our duty to do.

Moreover I still do not believe I have seen anyone, (at least on this Apologetics board), actually claiming to be working to earn their salvation. Antinomians need to get a real argument, and drop the straw man fallacy, for it is really nothing more than a veiled form of character assassination.

Once again

You can spin it however you want.

Your teaching a merit based works salvation.

If a person was truly saved, Truly born again, Truly made into a new creature by Christ, they would have done those things. the fact they did not shows they did nto have faith.

No one will be saved because they feed the poor, cloth the naked, or feed the sick.

They do those things out of appreciation and love because they are saved.

Please do not say you do not teach works when you do. period..

NOT OF WORKS LEST ANYONE SHOULD BOAST

I suggest you stop boasting of your works. and turn to Christ.

If a person was truly saved, Truly born again, Truly made into a new creature by Christ, they would have done those things. the fact they did not shows they did nto have faith.
They will do those things if they were truly sanctified by the Spirit of God. The point i have been at pains to make clear is that in the parable, and elsewhere in scripture, it is those works that are used as evidence in the judgment as to whether we are saved or not. The question as to whether we have faith or not does not come up in the judgment. It is only the works that are looked at and used as the standard by which we receive a pass or not. I do agree with you that we are saved by grace first, and those works are a fruit of the faith revealed externally.
No one will be saved because they feed the poor, cloth the naked, or feed the sick.
Yet they won't be saved except they do. Not because they do those things, but because of grace through faith. No-one will be saved as James says, by faith alone.

“14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, 16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? 17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. 18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. 19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. 20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? 22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? 23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. 24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. 25 Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way? 26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. ”

You have to much focus on good works and not enough forcus on Christ and his work.

Non of what you are trying to show matters. there are far to many passages that say it is not how good we are. not how many good deeds we do. Not anything we do that we are saved. When people start focusing on works. where are they focusing on? Christ? No. they are focusing on self. Hey God look at me. I am doing all these good works in your name.. well they mean nothing. If you do not come to God on your knees. as the tax collector did. and not as the pharisee. All your good works will amount to zilch.

James 2:14-26 KJV
Your interpretation of James 2 and Romans 4 are at odds with each other.

Again, Stop focuinbg on self. stop being like the pharisee pumping your chest. Look to the tax collector. Jesus said unless we become poor in spirit (literally bancrupt) we will nto enter the kingdom of God.. A bankrupt person has nothing to offer.. If you think your good deeds will help[ you. You are mistaken. Also. Think about it. In James 2. Only 1 would be suffice. because if a person had one work. you could not say they had no works. for they had at least one.

The people in james claimed to have faith.. James said they had non. He also said I will show you my faith by my works.. It is not works done to get saved. it is works that show you have been saved because you have been changed into a new creation and have the works Paul said in Eph 2: 10 we would do.
