Witchcraft can be a spiritual crime. Satan is a death spirit. People engaging in cursing and other Witchcraft are endagered as Satan can receive their life given by God. They receive death and that harms them.

They become the sacrifice that is harmed. The delusion is that others are harmed. He is a deceiver of children.

We christians bring people to the lord Christ our healer so they might receive life from him.

I use to play ouija and go around graveyards saying sorry to the dead people cause they stuck here.

Now I realize I wasn’t talking to anyone at all as everyone is not in those graves.

I don’t know I feel about demons running around today, people say they are. Well I do remember James speaking concerning how people can be demonic or “demon-like” desiring evil intentions for the selfish gain of the self.

I don’t think people are demons but they can be demonic or as the definition states “demon-like” and typically demon or whatever is considered “bad.”

Heavenly wisdom though is good and the opposite.

I don’t believe in ghost or anything but “spirit of Halloween” for example these type of spirits exist, “spirit of greed” “spirt of jealously.” I could be wrong but these are some of my thoughts.

Witchcraft is like rebellion, because one is consorting with the enemy (demons) and doing their bidding.

It is also like adultery, as we are called to have spiritual intimacy with God. But if we are spiritually intimate with demons instead, that is an abomination.

Again they are like prostitutes, selling themselves for temporary power from demons.

We need to also understand that witchcraft is the spirit of manipulation, let's open it wide up flirting, tantrums, rebellion, deceitful behavior, gambling, anything that manipulates against the will of God is considered witchcraft, not to mention divination.

Look at how some children are being raised... I will throw a tantrum to get what I want, little witches and warlocks, that will be burned if not corrected. Foster Care can foster a "gypsy spirit" children going from one family to another, one faith to another, sometimes merging right with wrong.

This witchcraft will stand in any form, because it's the enemies desire to deceived in any way possible

Let's don't forget Idol's in your lives. If you have collection of anything you have to show off its an Idol. If you half to be seen only in a certain car, the car is an Idol. If you can't give it up, you have an Idol.

Think about all the cults that have come about.

People claim they are the messiah.

Both categories are the same result if you are caught up in manipulation for sure.

I understand what you’re all getting at in terms of manipulation, control, deception, and idolatry being forms of rebellion against God.

One thing I try to be careful with is how we define “witchcraft” and how far we extend that term. In Scripture, witchcraft is clearly associated with practices like sorcery, divination, and seeking spiritual power outside of God (see Galatians 5:20). At the same time, the Bible also treats manipulation, deceit, jealousy, and control as works of the flesh that need repentance and transformation.

So I try to keep the language close to how Scripture itself frames things, naming the behavior directly rather than expanding it into a broad category that can end up covering almost every form of human sin or brokenness.

I do agree with the main point though: anything that draws us into deception, control, or idolatry ultimately opposes God’s truth and leads people away from Him. The answer the New Testament consistently gives is to walk in truth, love, and submission to Christ rather than trying to map every form of darkness.

Just my perspective as I try to keep things anchored in what Scripture clearly defines.

Can't say I agree. As there appears to be a distinction between witchcraft and other sins. But let's probe at it a bit.

Many sins are the result of temptation from evil spirits. When someone succumbs to temptation they yield to that spirit, often unknowingly. And we are a slave to whom we obey.

Witchcraft seems to go further, in seeking greater communion with evil spirits than is granted by a master, slave relationship.

Though often people may be ignorant that they are seeking greater communion, as they are ignorant of the spiritual forces at play when enquiring about the future or other things.

But I've no doubt there are witches who know what they are doing and whom they serve.

Evil takes over because they have forgotten God, so God is letting them experience the consequences. The consequences include being given over to an unsound mind. The unsound mind is caused by the influence of evil spirits.

Witches and some witches are called wiccans that they call themselves good witches, however, they all are ignorant to the wiles of Satan. The Apostle Paul warned of this. 2 Corinthians 2:11 - so that no advantage would be taken of us by Satan, for we are not ignorant of his schemes
